Still, through three games, Wemby averages 27 minutes and 15.7 points per game. Right now, he’s shooting just 23.1% from three-point range, and we expect that to get much better as the season progresses. He scored 21 against the Houston Rockets. The Suns rank second in defensive rating at 100.7. Looking at his game logs, there is some context—against Dallas, he ran into foul trouble. He played just 23 minutes, and in their most recent game against the Clippers, they got blown out, so his minutes were a bit more limited, down to 26 minutes.
Wembanyama has a big role in this Spurs offense, and here, against a high-powered offense, they’ll get the ball in his hands.

New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction & Odds

Next, we have a Knicks vs. Cavaliers prediction with the over on Jalen Brunson’s points at -122.
Facing the Cavaliers, Brunson heads into a game against a team that’s 24th in defensive rating at 114.2. Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland is out, so Brunson will see plenty of Donovan Mitchell, who’s been a solid defender this year with a defensive rating around 100.
Still, Brunson averages 32 minutes per game this year and 20 points. In the first and third games of this season, Brunson shot horrendously bad from the floor, shooting 10 for 35. In the second game of the season, he was on the opposite end, shooting 11 of 21. Of course, the average is somewhere more in the middle, but Brunson plays many minutes and should be here against a competitive opponent.

Here, his prop is set at 11.5 points. However, this season, he’s reached double-digit points just once. The one time he did, he played a massive 35 minutes and attempted just eight shots and made four of them. He’s getting plenty of minutes here, and against the Clippers, he’ll see plenty of Ivica Zubac, who has a defensive rating of 95.1 through 68 minutes this season. Carter Jr. has played plenty and hasn’t hit 12 points or more yet this season, so until things heat up a bit more, we’ll aim for the +100 line. He’s averaged at least 15 points per game the last two seasons, but at this point, we’ll stick with the under in this Magic vs. Clippers prediction.
