Grand National Promos: Best Aintree Festival Betting Offers

Aintree Grand National Offers

The 2024 Grand National is almost here as the excitement is building ahead of the big race. A maximum of 34 runners and riders will compete over the mammoth 4m 2.5f course in a bid to etch their name into National Hunt racing folklore.

The big question is whether last year’s winner Corach Rambler can repeat his feat and triumph once again.

He is trading as the favourite to win although punters will be looking for the best Grand National offers and free bets in order to make the most of their betting on the big race.

A number of bookmakers will have Grand National offers available, with customers able to potentially benefit from price boosts, extra-place terms and a price match guarantee from some of the biggest online betting brands.

The Grand National is one of seven races on the Aintree racecard this Saturday, with the action kicking off at 1.20pm with the William Hill Handicap Hurdle.

West Balboa is trading as favourite with the best betting sites to win the curtain-raiser, while Brighterdaysahead is back in action in the next race.

The Gordon Elliot-trained runner is favourite to triumph in the Turners Mersey Novices’ Hurdle, with Caldwell Potter also lining up in this race.

Then comes the William Hill Handicap Chase before Teahupoo, Irish Point and Flooring Porter tussle it out in the Liverpool Hurdle.

Corach Rambler looks likley to go off favourite when it comes to the feature race and it’s easy to see why the bookies respect the chances of the 10-year-old.

He won the 2023 Grand National in impressive style and he also produced an impressive performance when finishing third in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

However, Willie Mullins will have plenty of darts in this race, with I Am Maximus having won twice this season and the eight-year-old is being very well supported.

Last time out, the charge was able to beat Vanillier in a small field at Fairyhouse and that came after a solid enough showing in the Irish Gold Cup.

Mullins also has Meetingofthewaters lining up and this is another JP McManus-owned charge who demonstrated strong form when running in last month’s Ultima Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

He was able to finish third in a competitive encounter and will be carrying less weight than the first two in the market.

Vanillier was second in the 2023 Grand National and the Gavin Cromwell-trained horse will be bidding to go one better this time around.

The nine-year-old seems favourably weighted at 10-11, although he has 14 lengths to find on I Am Maximus after finishing second to this runner at Fairyhouse in February.

Mr Incredible has only had one outing this season although the Willie Mullins-trained eight-year-old has to be respected after a second-placed finish in the Midlands Grand National.

He unseated his rider in the 2023 Grand National when travelling well, while Kitty’s Light and Panda Boy are potentially other runners for the shortlist.

The former ran an excellent race in the Ultima Handicap Chase when finishing seventh after being sent off at 40/1 with horse racing betting sites, while the latter has twice hit the frame at Leopardstown in his past two outings, with the latest effort at the Dublin Racing Festival seeing him finish fourth out of 22 runners.
