Book Odds Bet Description
BetRivers +145 Nuggets' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Over 2.4 made 3-pointers

BetMGM +125 Spurs’ Keldon Johnson Over 2.5 turnovers

Phoenix Suns at Orlando Magic

7 p.m. ET

Line: Suns -7.5; Total: 218 points

I am betting on the Suns minus the points at BetMGM.

The Suns' travel plans took a change early Thursday morning when they flew into Tampa to wait out the remains of Hurricane Nicole and then took a chartered bus ride to Orlando to prepare for tonight’s game against the Magic.

Phoenix is coming off a 129-117 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and is beginning to play to the elite form like last season.

Orlando’s Paolo Banchero, the No. 1 pick of the 2022 draft, was held out of the Magic’s impressive 94-87 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.

His replacement Chuma Okeke did a terrific job defending Luca Doncic, holding him to 24 points. That marked the first game in which Doncic did not score 30 or more points. Still, the Suns have far more offensive weapons that should wear down the short-handed Magic tonight.

The following situational betting system has earned a 66% winning bets against the spread on a 45-23 record spanning the past 10 seasons. The requirements are:

  • Bet on road favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points
  • The favorite is coming off a game in which the combined score exceeded the total by at least 18 points
  • The opponent has seen the Over win by a total of at least 49 points over their last 10 games.
  • If the total of this game is between 211 and 220 points, our favorite has earned an 11-5 ATS record, good for 69% winning bets.

Other Games to Consider Tonight

Milwaukee Bucks at San Antonio Spurs 220.5 points

  • The Bucks are 24-13-2 Under (65%) when facing a team that is allowing opponents to shoot at least 46% from the field.
