The Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday in Game 1 of their best-of-seven NBA Western Conference Finals, 112-87.

This was the Warriors’ 199th playoff win in franchise history. 

A win on Friday would make the Warriors the fifth franchise with 200 or more playoff wins, joining the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs. 

As for the Mavericks, they hope to build on their number of franchise playoff victories with a win Friday against the Warriors.

The game is being played at Chase Center in San Francisco. Tipoff is at 9 p.m. ET. The Warriors hold a 1-0 lead in the seven-game series.

This does not point favorably in the Mavericks’ direction
