Here is tonight's 3-pointer, college basketball betting advice on three NCAA men's college basketball games.

Wisconsin vs. Minnesota

  • Williams Arena, Minneapolis
  • 9 p.m. ET Tip

The No. 13 Wisconsin Badgers will look to put the horrifying melee that occurred at the end of Sunday's dominating win over the Michigan Wolverines when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers tonight.

Wisconsin Early Favorites

The betting line for this game opened with Wisconsin installed as a 4.5-point road favorite. But 65% of the tickets bet and 57% of the money wagered has been on Wisconsin and, as a result, the market has moved to the Badgers being a five-point favorite.

The total for this Big Ten matchup opened at 135.5 points and has moved ½-point lower to 135 points.

I believe the public will be in love with the No. 13 Badgers and could push this line toward 5.5 points by tip-off. So, I suggest betting 50% of your 4% bet amount now and then waiting to see if the market gets any steam and look to get the other 50% on the books at +5.5 points.

Betting System Supporting Minnesota

Betting on home underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points that are coming off an upset win and has a winning record and taking on a winning record foe has earned a 47-22 ATS record for 68% winning bets over the past five seasons.

Minnesota earned a huge 77-60 home win over Northwestern and were installed as 4.5-point home underdogs.

Vermont vs. Binghamton

  • Events Center, Binghamton, New York
  • 7 p.m. ET Tip

The Vermont Catamounts will look to earn their 23rd win when they travel to Binghamton tonight.

How the Teams Come Into the Matchup

The Catamounts are 22-5 straight-up and have earned a 15-11 against the spread record. They are a solid 8-4 in road games and have covered the spread in seven of those games.

The Bearcats have struggled to an 11-13 record and an 11-10-1 against the spread record. However, in home games, they are just 5-7 with a 3-6-1 against the spread record.

Vermont loves to play slow and it ranks 309th in the nation, averaging 54.4 shots per game. Because of the slow play, it ranks 26th in the nation allowing an average of 62.2 points per game.

Vermont is coming off back-to-back wins, scoring 40 points in each of the first halves of those games. They defeated UMBC 86-59 and New Hampshire 71-50 and covered the spread in both games.

Why Vermont is a Good Bet

The Catamounts’ recent games have played put them into an ideal situation and are reinforced by a betting system that has earned a 35-15 Under record, good for 69% winning bets over the past 25 seasons and is 12-5 Under for 71% winning bets over the last five seasons.

Bet the Under with a road team in the second half of the season, after game No. 15, that is allowing 63 or fewer points per game, has scored at least 40 points in the first half of each of their past two games and is facing an opponent that is allowing an average of 67.5 to 75 points per game.

LSU vs. Kentucky

  • Rupp Arena, Lexington, Kentucky
  • 9 p.m. ET Tip

The No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats will look to keep their winning momentum when they take on SEC foe LSU at home tonight.

Wildcats’ Depth a Team Strength

Kentucky’s depth is among the best in the nation and the team is learning to play well without their injured guards Sahvir Wheeler and Tyty Washington.

The Wildcats are coming off a terrific win over No. 25 Alabama in which they trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half. They may be without the services of their guards again tonight when they host a hungry Tigers team, who is looking for their 20th win.

LSU Defense One of Nation’s Best

LSU plays great team defense and ranks third in the nation with a 0.626 defensive assist to turnover ratio. Their defense matches up quite well against an explosive and athletic Wildcats offense.

Kentucky is 2-10 against the spread in games played in the second half of each of the past seasons when facing a team that sports a squelching defense that is allowing 42% or lower shooting.

I like LSU getting 7.5 points at DraftKings Sportsbook .
