Chris has enjoyed a varied career within both the sports media and betting industries, providing written, audio and visual content for various bookmakers and national media outlets.
Most recently a betting correspondent for the Racing Post specialising in coverage of football, rugby, NFL and Formula 1, Chris has also put his punting knowledge to good use writing for the likes of Goal.com and Motor Sport Magazine.
Chris provided match commentary for bet365 and Hull City AFC, while presenting NFL tips for RPGTV and hosting a football betting show in Nigeria. He eventually brought all of this expertise to the Gambling.com team in 2023.

Chris’s position as sports betting editor has involved him in several projects, where he has utilised his industry experience and writing skills to produce and edit betting news and guides.
Chris played a role in the launch of Gambling.com’s tipping service The Panel - while his online betting knowledge has been put to good use when writing and fact-checking our in-depth bookmaker reviews.
Away From The Desk...
A qualified FA football coach, much of Chris’s spare time is spent either coaching the next generation or watching the football stars of today as a regular attendee of Arsenal games.
Then there’s betting on football, which was limited to accumulators and season-long bets previously, but has since extended to player props as his interest in fantasy sports has grown.
There is life beyond football, though, and Chris, a keen amateur athlete, is passionate about a wide range of sports - a bug he’s passed on to his son and ball-obsessed dog.
"I feel lucky to have been able to combine two of my main loves – writing and sports – into a career for nearly two decades.
"At Gambling.com, I’m able to combine those passions with a long-standing interest in betting, which started with winning our family’s Grand National sweepstakes on Miinnehoma in 1994.
"This passion for betting has been cultivated by various different jobs, projects, punting wins and losses over the years."
