FunkyJackpot Betting Review 2025: A Site Suited to Casual Bettors

Reviewed by

Gambling.com Rating: 7/10

Our Verdict: While FunkyJackpot is primarily a casino site, there are plenty of features and offers for casual bettors to enjoy.

Quick Summary: FunkyJackpot at a Glance

When I joined FunkyJackpot, I found a straightforward sign-up process and a betting site that doesn't try to reinvent the wheel.

While this site is clearly more about slots than sports, it's handy for betting on the likes of football and horse racing, as well as more niche markets like Esports.

There are a number of regular promotions to choose from and the bet builder is one of the best I've used, covering 10 different sports.

However there aren't any live streams, which takes away from the in-play betting experience, and I wasn’t thrilled by the 1% withdrawal fee.

Overall, FunkyJackpot is a promising  site that could use a few additions if it's to compete with the best betting sites in the UK.

FunkyJackpot Pros

  • Bet builder for 10 sports
  • Accumulator boosts
  • Extra each-way places for horse racing
FunkyJackpot Cons
  • Withdrawal fees
  • Wagering requirement on welcome offer
  • No live streams

FunkyJackpot Welcome Offer vs Offers From Competitors

When I signed up, FunkyJackpot gave me a bet £20, get £30 free bet offer. I simply deposited £20, placed a bet at 1/2 (the minimum odds required), and the free bet was credited quickly.

The token lasted seven days, which is fairly typical. The free bets did unfortunately come with a 1x wagering requirement on any winnings, meaning I had to place a few bets before I could withdraw.

It’s not the biggest free bet deal I’ve seen, but it provided extra value in my first week with this site.

Compared to other free bet offers UK punters can claim, it’s pretty straightforward and gives you a fair amount to start betting with.

Range of Sports at FunkyJackpot

Football is usually the first thing I see when I visit the sports section of this site.

I've bet on several Premier League fixtures and each had over 400 markets, which provides as much choice as even the best football betting sites.

The bet builder works well for creating custom combinations and it works for 10 different sports: football, basketball, tennis, hockey, American football, rugby league, rugby union, cricket, Australian Rules, and MMA (UFC). A lot of bet builders are football-only, so this is a big plus.

Horse racing is well-covered and all the big UK and Irish races can be bet on, some of them with extra each-way places.

Greyhound betting odds have recently been added to the site - a welcome addition, although they don't come with live streams.

I also haven't seen best odds guaranteed offered, which most racing-focused UK bookies provide.

Live In-Play Betting at FunkyJackpot

I've bet on football and tennis matches in-play at FunkyJackpot and there's plenty to like.

Even for obscure football games, I often have over 200 live betting markets to choose from, which is impressive even when compared with established sites like Betfred or bet365.

There’s no live streaming, which limits the experience, but the match tracker helps for football. I could see possession stats, score updates, and visual pitch diagrams, which gave me enough context to make informed bets.

Cash out is available, although I haven't loved the offers I've gotten. But that's always going to be a matter of personal preference.

User Experience & Site Design

FunkyJackpot’s design is clean and practical and the site isn't difficult to navigate, even for those completely new to betting.

I find load times fast and transitions between pages smooth. The lack of live streaming actually speeds things up a bit when loading the odds, so that's a bit of a silver lining.

When selecting the ‘Prematch’ filter for football odds, I could easily see which matches I could place a bet builder on, which was useful ahead of a weekend of football.

Racing gets its own section which makes it very easy to access all the latest horse racing odds.

There's also a 'Results' tab that shows all the latest scores from around the world of sport, another nice touch.

I like that available payment methods are clearly visible on the site - so I haven't had to go searching much to find out which types of transactions are accepted.

FunkyJackpot Mobile Betting

FunkyJackpot doesn’t have a downloadable iOS or Android app. Instead, I use the mobile site through Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.

I like being able to 'Favourite' matches that I'm interested in on mobile, making it easier for me to find them in the future.

What I miss are features that the best UK betting apps often provide, like push notifications and app-specific offers.

If you don’t mind browser-based betting, FunkyJackpot is very usable on mobile.

Customer Support

I tested customer support through live chat and email.

Live chat is available 24/7, and when I contacted them on a weekend evening, I was connected in under a minute.

Email support is provided through a contact form. I submitted a query about withdrawal fees and got a reply within about 16 hours. The answer was detailed and directly addressed my concern.

Responsible Gambling at FunkyJackpot

FunkyJackpot includes a full set of responsible gambling tools. I was able to set deposit, loss, and bet limits in my account.

Reality checks remind me of session length, and there are options for short time-outs or long-term self-exclusion.

I would like if the 'Play Responsibly' section was a bit more visible on the homepage though. At present it's a bit hidden towards the bottom of the screen.

Available Tools:

  • Deposit Limits
  • Loss Limits
  • Wager Limits
  • Reality Checks
  • Time-Outs
  • Self-Exclusion

The Bottom Line: Final Thoughts on FunkyJackpot

FunkyJackpot has left me with a positive overall impression during my most recent testing of the site, particularly for football betting.

A great bet builder is accompanied by acca boosts and free bets for big matches. Offers are also plentiful for a range of other sports.

While there are a couple of nice horse racing promos, the lack of best odds guaranteed and live streaming keeps this site behind specialist racing bookmakers.

The main weaknesses of the site overall are withdrawal fees, the lack of live streaming, and no dedicated mobile app.

I would still recommend FunkyJackpot – especially to casual bettors who focus on football but also like to dip into racing and other sports.
