Our Verdict: FunkyJackpot offers strong football betting site and enough features for a casual bettor.

Quick Summary: FunkyJackpot at a Glance

When I joined FunkyJackpot, I found a straightforward sign-up process and an easy-to-navigate betting site. Football betting stood out immediately, with plenty of markets and clear odds displays.

I liked that the bet slip was simple to use and that my deposit appeared instantly, where other sites might have a short waiting period.

The promotions were attractive, and I found the site worked reliably on both desktop and mobile. Odds compared well to what I’ve seen elsewhere, and I was able to test Bet Builder features without issue.

Where FunkyJackpot can improve is in premium features. No live streaming is offered, which takes away from in-play betting, and I wasn’t thrilled by the 1% withdrawal fee.

Overall, FunkyJackpot is a promising addition to betting sites in the UK.

FunkyJackpot Pros
  • Weekly free bet offers
  • Cashback offers each weekend
  • Good bet builder for football

  • Wagering requirement on welcome off

FunkyJackpot Welcome Offer vs Offers From Competitors

When I signed up, FunkyJackpot gave me a “Bet £20, Get £30 Free Bet” offer. The process was smooth: I deposited £20, placed a bet at 1/2 or higher, and the free bet was credited quickly.

The token lasted seven days, which is fairly typical. The free bets did unfortunately come with a 1x wagering requirement on any winnings, meaning I had to place a few bets before I could withdraw.

It’s not the biggest free bet deal I’ve seen, but it provided extra value in my first week.

Compared to some other free bet offers UK punters can find, it’s straightforward, easy to claim, and gives you a fair amount to start betting with.

Range of Sports at FunkyJackpot

Football betting at FunkyJackpot is the clear highlight. I tested several Premier League and Champions League fixtures, and each had well over 100 markets available, matching all over football betting sites.

These included match result, goals, cards, corners, and plenty of player specials. The Bet Builder tool worked well for creating custom combinations – I built a bet for a team to win, a goalscorer, and total corners without issue.

Horse racing is also covered, with UK and Irish races available daily. I was able to place standard win and each-way bets, and FunkyJackpot offers ‘First Past the Post’.

However, I didn’t see best odds guaranteed, which most racing-focused UK bookies provide. There was also no streaming, so I had to follow races elsewhere.

Other sports are available too. Tennis featured match winner, set betting, and handicaps across ATP and WTA events, while cricket offered batsman and bowler markets.

Live In-Play Betting at FunkyJackpot

I used FunkyJackpot’s in-play betting during football and tennis matches. The interface was responsive, with odds adjusting quickly after goals, cards, or break points.

For football, I saw dozens of live markets including next goal, total corners, and Asian handicaps.

There’s no live streaming, which limits the experience, but the match tracker helped. I could see possession stats, score updates, and visual pitch diagrams, which gave me enough context to make informed bets.

Cash Out is available, and I tested it successfully during a tennis match. The value offered was fair relative to the scoreline, though only full cash outs are supported.

User Experience & Site Design

FunkyJackpot’s design is clean and practical. The dark background purple accents felt modern without being distracting.

During my time testing the site, I found load times fast and transitions between pages smooth.

I did notice a brief lag on a Saturday afternoon when multiple football matches were running, but it didn’t prevent me placing bets.

When selecting the ‘Prematch’ filter in the left-hand menu I could easily filter out matches that I could place a bet builder on, which was useful ahead of a weekend of football.

The ‘My Teams’ feature also allowed me to keep track of my favourite teams, so I could bet on any future matches.

FunkyJackpot Betting App

FunkyJackpot doesn’t have a downloadable iOS or Android app. Instead, I used the mobile site through Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.

In-play betting was smooth, with odds updating quickly and bets placed without issue.

I liked being able to 'Favourite' matches that I was interested in, making it easier for me to find them in the future.

What I missed were features that betting apps UK punters often expect, like or push notifications for bet updates or new promotions.

If you don’t mind browser-based betting, FunkyJackpot’s mobile experience is very usable.

Customer Support

I tested FunkyJackpot’s customer support through live chat and email.

Live chat is available 24/7, and when I contacted them on a weekend evening, I was connected in under a minute.

Email support is provided through a contact form. I submitted a query about withdrawal fees and got a reply within about 10 hours. The answer was detailed and directly addressed my concern.

Responsible Gambling at FunkyJackpot

FunkyJackpot includes a full set of responsible gambling tools. I was able to set deposit, loss, and wagering limits easily in my account.

Reality checks reminded me of session length, and there were options for short time-outs or long-term self-exclusion.

Available Tools:

  • Deposit Limits
  • Loss Limits
  • Wager Limits
  • Reality Checks
  • Time-Outs
  • Self-Exclusion

The Bottom Line: Final Thoughts on FunkyJackpot

FunkyJackpot left me with a positive overall impression, particularly for football betting. The coverage is extensive, with plenty of markets and a strong Bet Builder tool.

Horse racing is also present, and while it has First Past the Post, the lack of Best Odds Guaranteed or live streaming keeps it behind specialist racing bookmakers.

Promotions were frequent and valuable, especially Free Bet Mondays and cashback deals, which gave me reasons to return each week.

The main weaknesses are the withdrawal fees, absence of live streaming, and no dedicated mobile app.

I would still recommend FunkyJackpot – especially to casual bettors who focus on football but also like to dip into racing and other sports.
