England U21 vs. Spain U21 Predictions:

England will bid to win the U21 European Championship when they take on Spain in the final at Adjarabet Arena in Georgia on Saturday.

The best betting sites make the Young Lions the slight favourites following their impressive 3-0 victory over Israel in the semi-finals.

They are yet to concede a goal at this tournament, while the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White, Anthony Gordon, Cole Palmer and Emile Smith Rowe have looked sharp in attack.

However, England face a formidable challenge against a Spain side that thumped Ukraine 5-1 in the other semi-final.

It promises to be an entertaining game between two talented young teams, and we have broken down our top tips below.

Back Both Teams To Score In The U21 Euros Final

England have been rock-solid at the back at this tournament, having kept five consecutive clean sheets thus far.

They beat the Czech Republic 2-0, Israel 2-0 and Germany 2-0 in the group stage, before battling to a 1-0 victory over Portugal in the quarter-finals.

Led by Chelsea starlet Levi Colwill, the defence remained rock solid in the 3-0 win against Israel in the semi-finals.

However, England’s impressive streak of clean sheets is likely to come to an end when they face Spain this weekend.

The young Spaniards have been scoring goals for fun at this tournament. They beat Romania 3-0 and Croatia 1-0 in the group stage, before drawing 2-2 with Ukraine.

Goals from Sergio Gomez and Juan Miranda handed them a 2-1 victory over Switzerland in the quarter-finals, and they then thrashed a Ukraine side featuring Mykailo Mudryk 5-1 in the semi-finals.

Man City’s Sergio Gomez and Real Betis’ Rodri Sanchez have been dangerous down the flanks, and Braga striker Abel Ruiz has been efficient in front of goal.

Yet Spain have also conceded in their last three games, and they are highly unlikely to keep a clean sheet against England, so both teams to score at 4/5 on football betting sites looks very attractive.

England U21 Could Have The Edge

There is a great deal of experience within this England U21 team, including several players that regularly star for elite Premier League teams.

They include Liverpool duo Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, along with City forward Palmer, Arsenal playmaker Smith Rowe, Newcastle winger Gordon and Chelsea’s Noni Madueke.

The likes of Jacob Ramsey, Ben Johnson, Oliver Skipp and Max Aarons are also accustomed to playing in big games.

There is also the right balance of steel and flair within the England team, which should serve them well on Saturday.

While they have cruised through to the final, it has been a more arduous journey for Spain, who needed extra-time against Switzerland in the quarter-finals.

The Spanish squad also features many promising players from teams like Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Betis and Celta Vigo, but they are not quite as solid as England at the back and in midfield.

As such, the Young Lions could have the edge in this game, so England Draw No Bet at 20/23 with new betting sites looks very tempting.

Gibbs-White Could Be Worth A Flutter To Find The Net

England U21 boss Lee Carsley is blessed with a wealth of attacking talent, but Gibbs-White has been the standout player thus far.

The Nottingham Forest forward showed great maturity in the semi-finals, as he missed a penalty, but dusted himself off and opened the scoring on 42 minutes.

It was his first goal of the tournament, but he could find himself on the score sheet once again this weekend, as he has the pace and movement to cause all sorts of problems for this Spain defence.

Odds of 9/2 on him scoring look attractive, while some betting apps are offering a tempting 6/1 on Cole Palmer finding the back of the net.

Tip: Morgan Gibbs-White To Score - 9/2 With Bet365
