Throughout the season, we will give you MLB betting advice each day, throwing in a few quick pitches for prop bets, Over-Under bets or moneyline bets on other games.

We’re going to switch it up today and give you the quick pitches first and all three are on games being played tonight. Our American League/National League picks are for games tomorrow to provide you with a little more time to think about your wagers.

Quick Bets I Like Tonight

Bet the Angels’ Mike Trout to hit a home run at +280 as offered at BetMGM Sportsbook.

Bet the Dodgers’ Chris Taylor to get a hit at -155 as offered at DraftKings.

Bet Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller Over 3.5 strikeouts at -150 as offered at BetMGM.

National League

San Francisco Giants at Philadelphia Phillies

Tomorrow, 6:05 p.m. ET

May wasn’t a good month for Philadelphia, as the Phillies went 10-17, losing 7.15 units-per-unit wagered for a horrid -23% ROI. The Over has gone 16-11 in large part because of the bullpen, a group that has allowed 63 runs which ranks eighth worst in the majors.

However, the Phillies have been decent, with an 8-6 record when facing a left-handed starting pitcher. They’re batting .240 and scoring an average of 5.1 RPG this season as a team.

Left-hander Carlos Radon will start for the Giants, and he has gone 0-3 with a 7.80 ERA and a 2.00 WHIP in his past three starts.

The Phillies start Aaron Nola, who is 2-4 in 10 starts with a 3.56 ERA and a 0.940 WHIP in 60 2/3 innings. He has 74 strikeouts and 10 walks.

Look for the Phillies bats to come alive and give Nola more than enough run support to get the win.

I am going to the window to bet the Phillies on the moneyline.

American League

Minnesota Twins at Detroit Tigers

Tomorrow, 7:10 p.m. ET

This is the fourth game of this series and the Twins plan to start right-hander Bailey Ober.

Detroit has scheduled left-hander Tarik Skubal.

Ober is 1-1 in six starts, despite posting a 3.25 ERA and a 1.229 WHIP. He has 25 strikeouts and seven walks in 27 2/3 innings.

Before his last start, he had started four consecutive games allowing one earned in three of them and none in the fourth.

He allowed three earned runs in three innings in his last start with five of the nine outs being strikeouts.

I like him quite a bit in this spot against the Tigers.

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli is a 35-21 on the moneyline, making 15 units per unit wagered when facing a foe with a solid bullpen that has a WHIP of 1.150 or better.

The Twins are hitting .292 with a .351 on-base percentage in the last seven games and I expect that to continue in this game.

I am going to the window to bet on the Minnesota Twins on the moneyline at BetMGM.
