Hopa Sports Betting Features 

The first thing we noticed at Hopa Sports was their BetAssistant. This is an automated widget which shows some of the more popular events at the time. Bets are split into in-play, starting soon and personalised suggestions based on your preferences. The current odds for the recommended suggestions are listed there too, so a bet can be placed straight from it.

The process for placing a bet via BetAssistant is the same as any other bet at Hopa Sports. Click on the odds for your selection and it will be added to the betslip. If each way is available, there will be a box to tick. It's just a case of entering a stake and placing the bet. For multiple or system bets, add more than one selection to the betslip to see all the betting options. 

The betslip is also where cash out is accessed. The My Bets tab will show all open bets. The horse race betting pages on site are a little bare. There are no silks or form displayed, just the race conditions and the odds with the jockeys and trainers displayed. Functionally, it's fine, but the addition of form would be a nice touch, while silks would make it more visually appealing. 

In-Play Betting

As soon as you land on the live betting homepage at Hopa Sports, you're met with a wall of odds. The most popular events in play at the time are shown. Along the left hand side, specific sports can be selected and there's an 'Upcoming' section which shows the events which will be starting shortly. 

The range of in-play betting markets is staggering. The number of markets available on an event is listed beside the odds. To view a particular event, either click on that number or the event name. Once in an event, live stats and visualiser will show how the event is going. In football matches, this is identified as teams in possession or having dangerous attacks. For tennis betting, a virtual court shows points in progress and the winner of each point as it happens. 

The in-play graphics are provided by Statscore, who offer their services to many other betting sites and are known for their high quality stats.

Live Streaming

Hopa Sports does not offer live streaming at the time of review. We hope this is something which changes at some point, as nothing quite beats watching the action after you've had a bet. For now, they offer an in-depth live betting section which provides up to the minute stats.

Depositing and Withdrawing at Hopa Sports

Hopa Sports Desktop Experience

There isn't a whole lot to the layout of the Hopa Sports site, and that's a very good thing in our opinion. The site is very straightforward to use regardless of your experience level with online sports betting. Sports are listed along the left hand side of the page and getting to the event you want is easy. There is a search bar in the top left of the page, but we don't think many people will need this due to the user-friendly layout of the site. 

The My Account section is packed with information including an in-depth account history where previous transactions can be viewed. Despite all of this and the massive amount of sports, events and markets on offer, the site is super fast. Moving from one page to another has nothing in terms of loading time and everything down to price changes on in-play events has no impact on the site's performance. It's very impressive. 

Hopa Sports Mobile Betting

Hopa Sports is available on mobile by using your device's browser. At present, there is no iOS or Android betting app for sports betting, though they do have one for casino and live casino, so it may be in the pipeline.
