We're going with Justin Herbert Under 262.5 Passing Yards (-110) at BetMGM. Herbert was just limited for his lowest passing yardage total of the season against the Jets. New York held Herbert to 136 yards while converting on only 16 of 30 pass attempts. Now, Herbert will face a Lions defense that's also been solid against the pass this season.

Detroit ranks eighth in opponents' pass completion percentage (61%) and is 11th in yards allowed per pass (6.3). The Lions are also fifth in yards allowed per game (296.6) and have the second-best defense on third downs, allowing opponents to convert at 32%.

We expect the Lions to limit long drives for the Chargers, which should help keep a lower-yardage game for Herbert.

David Montgomery is set to make his return after leaving the Oct. 15 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an injury. But in five games he was active, Montgomery was Detroit's top back, gaining 385 yards and six touchdowns.

We like David Montgomery Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. If he is healthy enough to receive his regular workload, there is a lot of value in this prop. In the four games he fully played in, Montgomery cleared this yardage prop each time. Montgomery ran for 74, 67, 121 and 109 yards before exiting the Tampa Bay game with 14 yards.

It's essentially a bet on Montgomery's health. If he's healthy and assumes a normal workload, he will clear it. But if the team is careful with him and limits his snaps, it would take a few long runs for this to hit. Still, we're confident in Montgomery's recent production to find value in this prop.

Things likely won't get better against a solid Detroit defense. The Lions are third in rushing yards allowed per game (76.3) and ninth in yards allowed per rush (3.7). Considering Ekeler's struggles and Detroit's elite defense, we're going to fade Ekeler.
