Our Verdict: Casumo is a user-friendly online bookmaker with quick payouts, value odds, and a straightforward platform, although it could add a few more promotions to rival the biggest names.

Casumo’s welcome bonus gave me a second chance on my first bet: 100% refund as a free bet up to £30 if your first bet (an acca with 3 legs minimum) loses.

I appreciated this safety net – when my initial football treble fell short, Casumo refunded my stake as a free bet.

However, the acca requirement makes the offer less straightforward than some other deals.

For example, William Hill runs a bet £10 get £30 deal and Betfred runs a bet £10 get £50 offer.

Casumo’s refund approach is more about insurance than pure bonus funds, but it's still a solid offer, and I enjoyed trying something different. In summary, it trades big value for low-risk peace of mind.

Offers for existing customers were fairly thin on the ground when I tested Casumo.

I have found a few highlights here, which I've listed below, but I'd definitely like to see a few more regular promos added to the site.

Horse racing at Casumo is solid but lacks some of the frills that the best horse racing betting sites have.

I found full coverage of UK and Irish meetings, from daily racecards to ante-post betting odds for big festivals like Cheltenham and Aintree.

I compared ante-post odds for the Cheltenham Gold Cup with bet365 and Betfred, and I was pleasantly surprised that prices stacked up pretty well to the biggest names in online betting.

However, Casumo’s racing section is missing live streaming and the best odds guaranteed promotion.

They do, however, offer extra each-way places on selected races – I spotted a few big-field handicaps with one more place than usual, flagged by a purple 'EW+' icon.

Casumo Football Betting

Football bettors will be impressed by Casumo's range of live betting markets, the bet builder, and live streaming options.

While I couldn't watch the biggest competitions like top-tier European leagues, I did stream games from lower-tier competitions.

For example, I watched a couple of pre-season friendlies and some matches from Major League Soccer on the Casumo app.

The amount of football markets you can bet on is really impressive - actually surprising for a site that I used to consider a casino-first brand.

For example, I found 552 betting markets for a Club World Cup match between PSG and Real Madrid.

The bet builder can be used for pretty much every football match as well, which is rare.

Overall, Casumo comes close to staking a claim as one of the best football betting sites, but it needs a few more promotions and boosts to fit that category.

Cricket betting at Casumo does the basics, without being spectacular.

For example, a test match between England and India came with 64 pre-match markets.

During the last IPL, I bet on Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings, and Casumo had a special on 'most sixes' which not all bookies offer.

Generally, however, there aren't many cricket promotions to take advantage of here.

In my experience, Casumo's odds compete pretty well with prices from the best cricket betting sites.

Casumo Tennis Betting

Betting on tennis with Casumo has similar pros and cons to betting on other sports.

However, the range of tennis live streams is truly impressive. I was even able to watch Wimbledon matches while betting.

Big tennis matches come with around 70 pre-game markets and 50 live betting markets, including 'instant' odds where you can bet on upcoming points.

The best tennis betting sites should always prioritise in-play odds in my opinion, so full marks to Casumo here.

However, early payout deals would be a nice addition, similar to what BoyleSports offers when your player takes a commanding lead.

Casumo Golf Betting

Casumo’s golf betting service offers all the essentials.

I placed a couple of bets during The Masters – one outright and an each-way bet on a long-shot. Casumo’s each-way terms were standard (they paid five places for The Masters, at 1/4 odds).

While that's OK, the best golf betting sites tend to offer extra each-way places for the majors, so I'd like Casumo to up its game here.

On the plus side, the golf odds are impressive. I compared Open Championship odds with 10 top bookmakers and found that Casumo matched the best prices for the top three players in the betting.

Casumo Odds & Market Variety

Casumo offers valuable pricing across major sports and backs it up with strong market depth.

For a Premier League match between Arsenal and Chelsea:

• Arsenal to win: 21/20 at Casumo (vs Evens at Betway)
• Over 2.5 goals: 10/11 (same as William Hill)
• Both teams to score: 5/6 (slightly better than 17/20 at Betano)

That same match had 283 pre-match markets on Casumo — more than Coral (242) and just shy of Bet365 (302).

Casumo also delivered standout odds for The Open Championship. Rory McIlroy to win was priced at 7/1, beating both William Hill and Bet365, who offered just 6/1.

NBA games typically showed 130+ betting lines, and a recent England vs India cricket ODI had 94, including full top-run scorer and innings-total options.

Overall, Casumo’s odds are consistently competitive, and the depth across sports makes it a reliable pick for punters who value variety as much as value.

Casumo Bet Builder

Casumo’s bet builder works especially well on football and is also available for basketball, NFL, baseball and ice hockey.

I was able to build bets with up to 20 legs and found that Casumo also offers editable pre-built bet builders.

These appear under the 'Pre-Packs' tab and can be tweaked before placing. They are ideal for punters who like inspiration but still want control.

Some drawbacks: most bet builders aren’t eligible for cash out, while the builders from bet365 and Unibet can be placed on more sports.

On the plus side, there's a promotion which refunds 10% of your bet builder stake as a free bet if it loses.

Overall, Casumo's bet builder beats a lot of major betting sites for usability and versatility, though it's still not the very best around.

Casumo’s live betting platform is surprisingly well-equipped - especially when it comes to streaming.

Casumo offers streams for sports like football and tennis matches, including ATP, WTA, and even Grand Slam events.

I watched a Wimbledon match live while placing point-by-point bets - the stream was stable without noticeable lag.

During a Premier League matchday, I followed Wolves vs Aston Villa using Casumo’s in-play centre.

It included a live statistics feed and over 100 live betting markets - including next goal and markets for the next 10 minutes of play.

Casumo might not match bet365’s massive streaming library, but for a mid-sized bookie, the in-play tennis and football coverage is genuinely impressive.

Combined with reliable in-play odds, it’s one of the better live betting setups outside the biggest names.

User Experience & Site Design

Casumo’s site and app have a modern, minimalist design that stands out with a slick white and purple theme.

Navigation is quick, with collapsible menus, a clear bet slip, and handy personalisation features.

Market layout is tidy, and the 'Explore' search bar at the top of the screen allows you to search for a specific team, match or market type.

One small touch I appreciated was the yellow bet builder icon that pops up whenever you have the option for a same-game acca. It's little things like this that make a big difference when it comes to user experience.

A minor gripe: some promo banners are a bit oversized on mobile and push the betting content slightly down the screen. I'd prefer if these were removed completely.

Overall, though, Casumo gets high marks from me for user experience.

The layout is pretty similar to desktop - a clock icon at the top of the screen links you to the odds for events that are starting soon.

The app is generally uncluttered and loads quickly in my experience. However, similar to the desktop site, the banners at the top of the homepage are a bit of an eyesore.
