Last season, in Jurgen Klopp's final season in charge of Liverpool, the Reds had their quadruple hopes dashed by Manchester United, who beat the 3-2 in the FA Cup at Old Trafford.

This season, Arne Slot's first as Klopp's replacement, hopes of a quadruple were dashed by Plymouth, who were bottom of the Championship when they recorded a famous 1-0 win.

That will make him an instant legend at Anfield. Picking up the League Cup too would be a perfect start to Slot's tenure.
