Houston Texans vs. Atlanta Falcons NFL Picks & Odds

He also has six touchdowns and zero interceptions. It's been an impressive showing from the rookie.

There's not much to get excited about with the 0-4 Carolina Panthers. Carolina hasn't even been that competitive in a lot of games and is just 0-2-1 against the spread this season, with the lone push coming on a backdoor cover in a 20-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints that wasn't even that close.

No. 1 pick Bryce Young has struggled in his rookie season, too. The Carolina quarterback missed one game due to injury but returned for the Week 4 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Young has struggled this season and ranks 33rd out of 34 quarterbacks in yards per pass attempt at 4.9. He has just two touchdowns and two interceptions. Just last week, Carolina's defense scored more points than the offense with a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown by Sam Franklin Jr., while the offense just managed two field goals.

We're going to back the Lions here, who are 3-1 against the spread this season. Detroit has dominated its last two opponents, beating the Falcons 20-6 and the rival Green Bay Packers 34-20 in a game it led 27-3 at halftime. They've won a close game, beating the Los Angeles Chargers in overtime, 27-24, and also lost a tight one, falling to the New Orleans Saints 16-15. Then there were the blowouts. Tennessee is coming off a 27-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4, but also lost to the Cleveland Browns by the same score in Week 3.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts are also 2-2 and have played two consecutive drama-filled games of their own, beating the Baltimore Ravens in overtime 22-19 before falling to the Los Angeles Rams 29-23. But those two games highlighted a weakness for the Colts. Baltimore gained 186 yards on the ground, averaging 5 yards per carry, while the Rams finished with 164 yards and averaged 4.6 yards per attempt.

Tennessee is at its best when it can establish the run, as it was able to do so in the win over the Bengals. The Titans ran for 173 yards (5.2) and were led by Derrick Henry gaining 122 yards and a touchdown. We like the Titans in this matchup and expect Henry to have a strong game against the Colts' porous run defense.

The Buffalo Bills have turned into one of the most dominant teams in the NFL following the Week 1 loss to the New York Jets. Buffalo has won its last three games by an average of 30 points, including a 48-20 win over the previously unbeaten Miami Dolphins. But we're going to go the other way in this weekend's London game.

Buffalo will be at a disadvantage considering Jacksonville is already acclimated to the time change and conditions in London after beating the Atlanta Falcons 23-7 in London on Sunday. Jacksonville's defense was dominant, allowing just 287 yards and recording four sacks and forcing three turnovers. It's fair to wonder question if the Bills will be able to get up mentally and physically for a London game after the marquee matchup against the division-rival Dolphins.

Derek Carr's status was questionable going into Week 4 and he didn't play well, completing just 23 of 37 passes for 127 yards.

The Patriots have struggled in their own right and are coming off a 38-3 beatdown to the Dallas Cowboys. Mac Jones was bad, throwing two interceptions and only throwing for 150 yards while converting on 12 of 21 passes. Jones was eventually pulled from the game.

With two offenses struggling this bad, we like the under in this game despite it being at a low total of 40. The last three Patriots games have gone under, while all four Saints games have gone under this season.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 5 NFL Picks

Miami gets an ideal matchup against a New York Giants team that was embarrassed on Monday Night Football, losing 24-3 to the Seattle Seahawks. The Giants' issues don't appear to be able to be fixed in just a week.

New York surrendered 11 sacks, with Daniel Jones routinely running for his life whenever he dropped back to pass. With the Giants line dealing with injuries and the inability to block anyone, not even the chance running back Saquon Barkley returns could be enough for us to want to back New York based off what we saw last week.

It's been a trying season for the Cincinnati Bengals offense. The offense has been held to just three points in two games this season, including last week's 27-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Cincinnati generated just 211 yards, was sacked three times and Joe Burrow threw an interception. Burrow completed just 20 of 30 passes for 165 yards as he and the rest of the Bengals lack the form from the Super Bowl run two seasons ago.

Burrow ranks last out of all 34 quarterbacks in passing yards per attempt at 4.8. The Bengals' pass game is nonexistent this season and remains in a place where we can't suggest a bet on Cincinnati as long as its offense continues to struggle. We'll go with the underdog Arizona Cardinals, who have a signature win at home already over the Dallas Cowboys.

Both the Packers and Raiders have issues to address before the Week 5 Monday Night Football showdown. Green Bay was destroyed by the Lions on Thursday, going down 27-3 in the first half as its run defense was nonexistent. Las Vegas also trailed early to the Chargers, going down 24-7 at the half but rallied. The Raiders had a chance to tie the game but an Aidan O'Connell interception in the red zone sealed the victory for the Chargers.

It's worth monitoring whether Jimmy Garoppolo will be back to lead the Raiders offense or whether O'Connell will get another start. Whoever the Raiders start at quarterback is enough to flip this pick, but as it stands with O'Connell the projected starter, we are leaning towards Green Bay. The Packers are coming off extended rest having played on Thursday, which should allow the team to get key guys back on the offensive line to help protect Jordan Love.
