Chicago has won four of six games and won the last two three-game series against the Kansas City Royals and the Oakland A’s.

The Philadelphia Phillies are going to be a team on the rise and will be more than competitive in the first round of the playoffs after this season.
The Phillies might be the most undervalued franchise at 22:1 to win the National League. They are facing the worst team in the NL, and I expect them to sweep the Washington Nationals.
Situational Trends and Angles
The following situational betting trends and angles support a bet on the Over in this matchup.
- Phillies pitcher Kyle Gibson is 30-11 Over in home games played in the second half of the season, facing a foe that strands 6.9 or fewer runner on base.
- Gibson is 14-2 Over when facing a team in the second half of the season that is being outscored by at least one or more runs per game.
- The Nationals are 27-14 Over as a road underdog of +150 to +200 in games played over the past two seasons.
