After going 3-17 straight-up during a 20-game stretch that Kevin Durant was recovering from a sprained medial lateral ligament injury in his knee, the Brooklyn Nets are on a 6-1 straight-up winning run.

Their only loss has been at home to the Dallas Mavericks in a game they blew a 14-point lead and lost on a last-second long-range 3-pointer from Spencer Dinwiddie.

During the past seven games, Durant has been averaging 30.8 points, 7.3 assists, and 6.6 rebounds on 55% shooting, including 41.4% from beyond the arc.

Now, the Nets go on the road to play the Memphis Grizzlies, who are second in the Western Conference.

The Grizzlies announced late Tuesday night that All-Star guard Ja Morant is out of the lineup for this game because of nagging right knee soreness. So, how does this affect your NBA betting strategy?

The line for this game opened with Memphis installed as a 1.5-point favorite before the Morant news and since has moved to price to the Nets as 2.5-point road favorites.

The total opened at 236.5 points and has since moved to a current price of 239 points. More than 80% of the tickets wagered on the total have been on the Over in early betting action and is likely to steam even higher in the afternoon.

Trends and Angles Quite Revealing for This Game

The Grizzlies are 25-14-1 Under when facing solid ball-handling teams averaging 23 or more assists per game this season and 18-7-1 Under when facing a strong shooting team making at least 46% of their shots in the second half of each of the past three seasons.

The following betting algorithm has produced a highly profitable 56-18 Under record, good for 76% winning bets over the past 25 NBA seasons.

The requirements are to bet the Under in a game with a posted total of 230 or more points and with a team, in this matchup Memphis, who is playing four or fewer games in the past 10 days, and in a matchup of two winning record teams.

I am betting the Under in this game
