Brian 'True Geordie' Davis Inks GGPoker Brand Ambassador Deal

British social media personality Brian ‘True Geordie’ Davis has inked a deal to serve as the latest brand ambassador for globally-recognised online poker brand GGPoker.

As part of this arrangement, the 36-year-old influencer will be showing off his considerable poker skills by taking on professional and amateur players from around the world via special live events and online poker games organised by GGPoker.

Obscure Origin

Davis’ rise to fame began just over a decade ago after he began posting online rants regarding his favourite football club, Newcastle United, via YouTube

The trained deep-sea diver subsequently parlayed the widespread popularity of these opinionated pieces into his True Geordie series of podcasts often containing interviews with some of the most interesting figures from the world of sport.

This new alliance will involve Davis taking part in a 13-strong series of weekly online poker tournaments exclusively hosted by GGPoker.

Moreover, he will represent the respected brand at the WSOP Super Circuit Series, which is scheduled to run from July 27 to August 13 from the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

Particular Prominence

The large team of brand ambassadors for GGPoker already embraced six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu as well as American television personality Ali Nejad.

Davis, the latest star to front GGPoker, pronounced that he is ‘absolutely delighted’ to be able to work with ‘the number-one poker brand in the world’.

Angela Martin serves as the Head of United Kingdom and Ireland Marketing for GGPoker and she welcomed Davis to the ‘GGPoker family’ at the same time as publicising her brand’s month-long MicroFestival online poker extravaganza.

It began on Tuesday and featured $10million in aggregated guarantees alongside buy-ins starting from as low as $1.
