Next Norwich Manager Odds: Pressure Mounts On Manning After Midweek Derby Defeat

Norwich boss Liam Manning is under increasing pressure to keep his job after a fourth successive defeat sent his team into the bottom three of the Championship, although he is likely to be in charge for Saturday's trip to Swansea.
With Manning skating on thin ice, betting sites have placed Russell Martin and Gary O'Neil at the head of the market to take over at Carrow Road.
Manning was still smarting after losing to his former club Bristol City at the weekend and his mood did not improve on Tuesday when the Canaries went down to a 1-0 defeat at Derby.
City had twice as many shots as the hosts and hit the post in the second half, but they were sunk by David Ozoh's 55th-minute winner.
Manning only joined the club in the summer when a promotion push was the aim, but a relegation battle now looks on the cards amid unrest among many supporters.
He has vowed to "keep fighting", but the big question is whether he will be given the opportunity to transform the Canaries' season.

Martin Looking To Bounce Back
Martin endured a torrid time in charge of Rangers this season, eventually getting the sack after a poor run of results amid supporter unrest.
In addition, he also disappointed in charge of Southampton in the Premier League, meaning his reputation has taken a knock after a good start to his managerial career.
The 39-year-old is likely to want a break from the craziness of football management, but he could be tempted to return to a club he represented over 280 times as a player.
Martin is priced at 7/5 to get the job should Manning leave.

O'Neil Waiting Patiently
O'Neil made 51 appearances for Norwich between 2014 and 2016, and now finds himself towards the head of the market to replace Manning.
His ability to manage is unquestionable, and he could be the man to guide Norwich back to the Premier League.

The 42-year-old has plenty of experience coaching in the top flight, having managed at Bournemouth and, most recently, Wolves.
O'Neil has been waiting patiently to make the step back into management, and is just 8/5 with betting apps for the Carrow Road vacancy.

Stoke Boss Robins In The Running
Mark Robins (3/1) is being touted as a possible replacement for Manning.
The former Norwich player has made a decent start to the season at Stoke, who are inside the play-off spots, so it would be a surprise if he were to swap the Potters for the Canaries.

The 55-year-old did an impressive job with Coventry during two spells in charge, leading them to promotion from League Two and League One.
He would be a popular appointment with Norwich fans, but can they tempt him away from his current position?
Challinor Could Be The Answer
Stockport County boss Dave Challinor has emerged as a surprise contender to replace Manning at Carrow Road, priced at 9/2 with bookmakers.
The former Hartlepool and Fylde manager has built a strong reputation for success in the lower leagues, combining tactical discipline with attacking football.
His promotion-winning experience and leadership qualities have caught the attention of many bigger clubs, who could view him as a forward-thinking appointment.
Challinor has his Stockport side in the hunt for promotion from League One, but would surely find the Norwich job too good to turn down.
Carrick Could Shine At Carrow Road
Despite having been sacked by Middlesbrough in the summer, Michael Carrick is still considered to be one of the brightest young managers in England.
The former Manchester United midfielder did an impressive job at the Riverside during his three-year tenure, leading them into the play-offs and to an EFL Cup semi-final.

He could be the ideal match for a club such as Norwich, and fans would likely be happy if he was the next boss to take the hotseat at Carrow Road.
Carrick is priced at 5/1 with football betting sites.
Elsewhere, Lincoln City boss Michael Skubala is 4/1, while Steven Gerrard, who recently turned down Rangers, is 6/1.
Ralph Hasenhuttl (8/1) and Michael Beale (12/1) are both outsiders for the job.
