15:12 Ayr: Jm Jhingree - 0.5pt Win @ 12/1
Jm Jhingree has been well held on both starts since joining Ewan Whillans, but I think he could be capable of bouncing back to a better level of form this afternoon.
On both of those occasions at Musselburgh, he was ridden patiently whereas his best form for Jim Goldie had been when making the running or at least racing handily.
In this small field, I think he has a good chance of being able to get to the front early on and he may not face much pressure for that lead, given the early speed that he has shown when at his best and the typical running style of his rivals.
It is a bit concerning just how poorly he ran last time when dropping away quickly, and maybe the change of trainer hasn’t done the trick.
However, I think he’s a little overpriced - given the potentially favourable tactical setup today - and any double-figure prices appeal.
