In an attempt to increase awareness to its online casinos and sports wagering offerings, British provider Spreadex has signed a deal to serve as the official UK betting partner of Championship football club Blackburn Rovers.

The three-year arrangement inked just days before the start of the 2023/24 season is to see the Spreadex logo displayed across signage inside the Lancashire side’s 31,000-seat Ewood Park home and simultaneously allow the pair to cooperate on a range of bespoke promotions and competitions.

Reputable Resource

Established in 1999, St Albans-headquartered Spreadex runs a mobile-friendly betting site replete with spread and fixed-odds markets on a wide range of sports as well as video slots and live dealer games of blackjack and roulette.

The private enterprise moreover offers financial spread betting services covering indices, commodities, shares, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies and bonds.

The Head of Marketing for Spreadex, Andy MacKenzie, stated that his company counts a number of Blackburn Rovers fans amongst its ranks and now ‘can’t wait for the new season to get up and running’.

He went on to declare that his firm’s latest partner has ‘a proud history’ alongside equally-exciting ‘ambitions for the future'.

“We’re delighted to be part of Blackburn Rovers’ journey moving forwards and are already planning a series of competitions and content to keep fans engaged via our social channels plus looking at ways to help support local club community initiatives,” MacKenzie said.

Esteemed Entity

For its part, Blackburn Rovers was one of the founding members of the English Football League way back in 1888 and has won the domestic title three times while having bagged six FA Cups as well as the 2001/02 League Cup.

The side managed by Jon Dahl Tomasson narrowly missed out on the playoffs last season and is scheduled to kick off its latest Championship campaign at home to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Confirmed Cheer

Steve Waggott serves as the Chief Executive for Blackburn Rovers and he admitted to being ‘delighted’ at the opportunity to work with ‘one of the longest-established betting and trading firms’ in Spreadex.

“Award-winning, Spreadex will join a range of other new partners for the forthcoming season and we are looking forward to working with its team to further develop and strengthen our partnership over the coming months,” Waggot said.
