QPR Vs Sheffield Wednesday, Saturday, 3pm
Gunning for a fourth success on the bounce it's to the Championship we'll head for a confident 9/2 combination on Saturday afternoon, pairing up a couple of in-form home teams that need wins for different reasons.
Go back to the early days of the season, a woeful total of seven points from their first 10 games meant anyone suggesting QPR would round off January being talked about as play-off contenders would have been ridiculed.
As recently as November 26, the Hoops had amassed just 11 points from a possible 48, and were understandably being talked about as borderline certainties for relegation.
Fortunes change lightning fast in football, however, and since a draw at home to Stoke and a win at Cardiff in late November, something has definitely clicked and it's been all systems go for the Loftus Road outfit.
A Boxing Day defeat at Swansea has been their only loss in 13 league games, a spell in which boss Marti Cifuentes' men have put together an impressive 28 points from an available 39, in the process lifting themselves from the foot of the table to a much healthier 10th place.
A couple of more victories and they could easily find themselves overtaking the likes of stuttering Watford and Blackburn, and in so doing entering the play-off equation.
Next up for them is the team immediately below them in the table - Sheffield Wednesday.
What's encouraging about backing QPR is Wednesday's notable defensive frailties; with 20-year-old on-loan keeper James Beadle between the sticks they are leaking goals at an alarming rate.
The Owls have conceded a whopping 15 times in their six most recent league games, a third of the 45 they have shipped in total - a figure only topped by relegation battlers Portsmouth (46), Luton (47) and Plymouth (60).
As for QPR, as well as winning both their two most recent games away from home, they won all five home games since the beginning of December, and with their confidence high I expect them to have too much for the porous South Yorkshire side.
Looking to continue their surge up the Championship standings, QPR look unmissable value at 31/20 with football betting sites.

Cardiff Vs Derby, Saturday 3pm
Who to pair them up with? As unlikely as it would have sounded just a few short weeks ago, I've gone for Cardiff at 6/5 with William Hill.
I began by saying we are backing teams for whom victories would make a big difference.
True for QPR as they build up an unlikely head of steam, and equally true for 20th-placed Cardiff as they try to climb away from the turbulence of the relegation zone.
The signs are that the Bluebirds are finally beginning to fire for their latest boss Omer Riza.
Unlikely progress into the fourth round of the FA Cup has been part of a seven-game unbeaten streak in all competitions, the obvious highlight being last Saturday's 3-0 derby-day hammering of bitter rivals Swansea.
Even more recently, Tuesday night's smash-and-grab effort, when they came back from the dead to snatch a point at Millwall, left them feeling elated.
Cardiff looked buried at 2-0 down after 20 minutes, but emerged from the Lions' Den with a point following Yousef Salech's 97th-minute leveller.
Ten points from a possible 18 is much more like it, and the fixture computer has been kind this weekend, with woeful Derby the visitors to the Welsh capital.

Paul Warne's Rams play some nice stuff, but pretty doesn't necessarily cut the mustard at this level, something they're finding out the hard way.
A point and a place below Cardiff, but horribly out of sorts, Derby have forgotten how to score, blanking in four of their last five league games.
They're being dragged into the relegation mixer, and could very well be the next victim of the Cardiff City resurgence.
Cardiff look cracking value for this one with betting apps.
