Since late 2023, ESPN BET has owned just 3% of the market share across the U.S., trailing behind giants like DraftKings and FanDuel.

The rebrand to theScore Bet will be the second time in just over two years that Penn will try to break into online U.S. sports betting in a significant way.

For existing ESPN BET Sportsbook customers, the ESPN BET brand will be discontinued. All pending bets and PENN Play rewards points will be transferred to theScore Bet. Your ESPN BET account information will remain the same with theScore. The ESPN BET app will become theScore Bet app, so you won’t even need to download a new app.
