Acevedo to be First Player Carded Against Columbus Crew: (22.2%)

Nicolas Acevedo is part of a New York City team this season looking to defend their MLS Cup crown, but it has come with the team being very ill-disciplined in the referee's notebook.

In fact, in just the last game against Rochester New York in the U.S Open Cup, Gabriel Pereira was sent off for two yellow cards, while Morales Zelalem and Heber received bookings, too.

Acevedo came off the bench in the last game, and it will mean he starts here once more after a rest last time out. In his previous game against Sporting Kansas City, he once more was the first player to receive a yellow card.

Acevedo has done that in two out of his nine games so far, meaning he’s done so in 22.2% of matches he’s played in.

Hernandez to Score First Against Dallas: (40%)

Javier Hernandez, pictured, is looking for his first goal in over a month, and he will be in a solid position to do so against an FC Dallas side that LA Galaxy must to defeat to stay on the tails of the top two in the Western Conference and keep ahead of the Texas team.

Los Angeles FC was the last team the Mexican scored against to make it five goals in 10 games this campaign, and four of those goals have come as the first one in the game. This puts him at a record of 40% to score the first goal, and it’s about time he returned to the scoresheet.

Both Teams to Score in Atlanta versus New England Revs: (65%)

The New England Revolution and Atlanta United are desperate to win here to establish themselves as a threat to the playoff spots. The Georgia team is seventh right now, three points ahead of the 11th-place Revs.

Both sides have been seeing the goals come an awful lot this season, with Atlanta seeing 15 goals scored themselves, just as they have conceded 14. The Revs have let in 18, but scored 16 during 10 games, which is a commendable feat for a team outside the playoffs right now.

New England’s defensive record is a concern, however, with the Revs and their opponent scoring in 70% of games. Atlanta has witnessed this in 60% of their games.

Both Teams to Score in Both Halves Between Vancouver Whitecaps and San Jose Earthquakes: (15.8%)

The incredible goalscoring rate in San Jose Earthquakes games continued in the U.S Open Cup on Wednesday as they saw another four goals go in, with the Seattle Sounders and the Quakes bagging two each before the latter won on penalties.

This game did see the Quakes score in both halves once more, although the Sounders bagged their two in the second half. On the other hand, this still means a stunning 30% of games have seen both teams score in both halves — an extraordinary record to uphold.

As a combined record, the Vancouver Whitecaps have not seen a single game where both teams score in both halves, but they sit at the bottom of the Western Conference and have let in 17 goals in just nine games.
