The Suns look to notch their 11th consecutive win at the Footprint Center in Phoenix when they take on the sliding Brooklyn Nets at 10 p.m. ET.

How the Suns Come Into Tonight’s Game Against the Nets

The Suns are 40-9 straight-up (SU) for the season, establishing a franchise record for best start over the first 50 games, even if they lose tonight, making them an attractive Arizona sports betting option.

Phoenix set another franchise record by winning 18 consecutive games earlier this season. The last time the Suns went 39-11 to start the season, Nets head coach Steve Nash ran the offense as their point guard.

The Suns are 6-4 against the spread over the current 10-game winning streak, including a 3-7 over-under record, which reflects the strong defense that they bring to the court for every game.

The Suns rank third in the Association with a 112.9 points per game average and rank seventh by allowing an average of 105 points. They also have the widest scoring differential.

They are 40-9 SU, 27-22 ATS, with a 21-27-1 over-under record and are winning because they take care of the basketball. They have a 1.988 assist-to-turnover ratio, good for third-best in the Association.

How the Nets Come into Tonight’s Game Against the Suns

The Nets arrive in the desert losers of 11 of their past 17 games and sporting a season-high four-game losing streak.

The reemergence of Kyrie Irving, who is permitted to play road games only because of New York City’s COVID-19 health and safety mandates.

Since he came back the Nets have regressed because of the lack of floor chemistry and far too much individual play, which allows defenses to easily provide help in one-on-one isolation matchups, making them hard to predict for New York sports betting players.

The Nets’ James Harden has missed the last several games and has not played since Jan. 25, when he recorded his 67th career triple-double in a 10-point home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Harden has missed action with inflation and nerve irritation in his hand but could practice with the team Monday.

In the Nets’ loss at Golden State, Irving had 32 points, but here again, what good is 32 points if the team loses because not enough players get involved with the offensive sets?

The Nets are just 4-4 SU and 4-4 ATS in Irving’s eight road games and that is not going to get it done if the Nets want to be considered contenders for Eastern Conference Championship, let alone the NBA Championship.

What the Numbers Say in Nets at Suns Game

The line for this game opened with the Nets priced as seven-point dogs and the expectation that Harden will start tonight has forced the market lower to the Nets priced as a six-point underdog.

The total opened at 226.5 points and has steamed all morning to its current price of 230 points and will likely move higher.

I am leaning toward the under and at a price of 232.5 points from the current level of 230 points.

I think it is probably that the over will continue to steam, but under bets at 233/233.5 from the sharps will be seen in force either as outright wagers or buy backs from getting on the over at 227 points earlier today.
