Rhys Williams' Daily Horse Racing Tips: 3 Selections For Wednesday

The Panel are delighted to have Rhys Williams as part of our team of racing tipsters.
Rhys has been a racing analyst for over 10 years, working for At The Races and most recently as a tipster for Betfair where his tipping column had a 31% ROI over four and a half years.
He often focuses away from the front end of the market, finding angles that aren't evident to most.
His profit and loss record for 2026 stands at -6.5 points.
Here are Rhys' tips for Wednesday, using the most up-to-date odds from the best horse racing betting sites.
14:40 Newbury: Top Guy - 1pt Win @ 4/1
This three-mile handicap hurdle is likely to be run at a good pace and that is likely to suit Top Guy, who won on his first attempt over this trip under rules last time.
He showed little on his first two starts this season over trips around two miles before finishing strongly at Southwell to be narrowly beaten when stepped up to 2m4f½f.
Another significant step up in trip was made last time at Aintree, where he looked outpaced early in the home straight with a slight mistake at three out not helping his cause.
He still looked to be struggling to pick up the leading pair shortly after jumping the last but finished strongly to end up winning by just over a length.
Given the way that he finished that race, I think the likely good pace turning this into a proper test at the trip can bring out more improvement from Top Guy.
This track also looks ideal for him and the rain that fell yesterday is in his favour so while this is tougher company than he faced last time, I think he can cope with that and make it back-to-back victories.
Any 7/2 or bigger appeals.

15:05 Lingfield: Graffiti - 0.5pt Win @ 20/1
The other horse of interest in the same race at a bigger price is Graffiti, who I think is more likely to bounce back after being well beaten at Kempton last time than the market suggests.
He wasn’t travelling well from an early stage over a mile that day so the return to a longer trip and the application of cheekpieces is likely to help his cause this afternoon.
A 4lb drop for that run looks generous and it’s easy to forgive his previous run too when running over 1m4 and clearly not seeing out the trip at Brighton.
This looks a more suitable test for Graffiti and while there is a chance that he’s just not as good as he was as a seven-year-old, I think there’s more potential for him to bounce back than his price suggests.
Any 14/1 or bigger appeals.
Rhys' Selection 2: 15:05 Lingfield - Graffiti - 0.5pt Win
15:25 Fairyhouse: Attaboyarchie - 0.5pt Win @ 40/1
Attaboyarchie hasn’t been competitive in three starts over fences, but I think he has the potential to be better than he’s shown so far in this sphere and he could run well at a big price.
That potential for improvement may depend on the tactics used.
He’s been ridden patiently in all three starts over fences and while he was still going quite well when effectively being brought down two starts ago, I think reverting to the positive tactics that were occasionally used over hurdles could help his chance.
When last seen in that sphere, he built up a big lead and was still in front at two out before fading out of contention late on.
With there not being too much early pace in this race, it may be advantageous for Emma Sweeney to revert to such tactics and given the horse’s price, there’s a chance they could be ignored and given too much rope out in front.
Any 20/1 or bigger appeals.
Rhys' Selection 3: 15:25 Fairyhouse - Attaboyarchie - 0.5pt Win
