Bally’s Las Vegas Construction Timeline Revealed

Las Vegas will welcome a transformative addition to its iconic skyline as Bally’s unveils plans for a mixed-use resort surrounding the new Athletics’ Major League Baseball stadium.

The 3.56 million-square-foot development, which occupies 26 acres of a 35-acre plot, is set to reimagine the city’s entertainment offerings. Its four-phase construction schedule ends in March 2029.

The development begins in April 2026, subject to Clark County’s January permit approval.

Sports And Entertainment Hub

Phase one aligns with the Athletics’ stadium debut in early 2028

It includes the essential groundwork for critical infrastructure components such as a central utility plant, a southeast parking garage, and vibrant retail and dining options surrounding the ballpark.

This step is crucial for the 9-acre, $2 billion stadium to ensure the correct flow and that it truly becomes a hub for sports and entertainment.

Phase two focuses on hospitality, with a 1,800-room hotel tower, a 100,000-square-foot casino, and a sportsbook.

Additional retail and dining outlets—from cozy 1,000-square-foot shops to large 59,800-square-foot rooftop venues—will attract customers to the resort.

In phase three, a 3,000-seat theater measuring 216,000 square feet will be built on the southwest corner, providing a venue for world-class performances.

The last phase includes a second hotel tower with 1,200 rooms, rising to 420 feet, complementing the 350-foot-tall first tower and the stadium.

Dedication To Innovation

Bally’s vision includes 476,000 square feet of retail and entertainment areas, 50,000 square feet of luxurious pools, and 2,680 dedicated parking spaces. Shared access will boost the site’s capacity to more than 5,200.

To streamline operations, Bally’s seeks waivers to reduce electric vehicle parking from 108 to 22 spaces and loading docks from 68 to 11, citing efficient centralized logistics similar to other Strip properties.

The audacious move follows Bally’s $3.12B merger with Intralot’s technology arm, now led by CEO Robeson Reeves as Bally’s Intralot.

The company’s repositioning in the market demonstrates its dedication to innovation and solidifies the resort as a cornerstone in Las Vegas's ever-evolving landscape.

The giant hotel towers are still subject to an additional design review by Clark County, which will determine whether they comply with local standards.

Scheduled to open shortly after the Athletics’ ballpark, the multifaceted resort will combine sports, gaming, and entertainment within a single venue.

With its phased development, Bally’s is focused on delivering a destination that emanates the energy of the Strip while defining a new level of integrated resorts.

As Vegas continues to grow as a global entertainment capital, Bally’s development is set to attract visitors and locals who will want to see what it has in store for them when it opens fully in 2029.
