Rhys Williams' Racing Tips: 1 Selection For Wednesday
Horse racing expert Rhys Williams is sharing his best selections for today's racing.
Rhys has been a racing analyst for over 10 years, working for At The Races and most recently as a tipster for Betfair where his tipping column had a 31% ROI over four and a half years.
He often focuses away from the front end of the market, finding angles that aren't evident to most.
Thanks to his 50/1 winner at the Cheltenham Festival (Apolon De Charnie), Rhys has returned a profit of 95.93 points and his profit and loss record for the year stands at +17.93 points from 78 points staked.

17:13 Hexham: Myfriendcooper - 1pt Win @ 5/1
Myfriendcooper ran promisingly on her rules debut at Ayr in January and I think she has a good chance of building on that in the closing race at Hexham.
She won a mares' maiden at Dromahane in April 2024 and joined Alan King for £70,000 but never made the track for him.
Sold for £8,500 to her current connections in May last year, Myfriendcooper made her first start for them and rules debut in a strong bumper at Ayr.
Having been held up, she travelled strongly for a long way before her effort flattened out late on and she finished fourth.
The winner of that race was considered good enough to run in the Champion Bumper while many of the others had previously run to a good level in points or bumpers.
Myfriendcooper was taking on the boys that day and she now finds a weaker race against mares.
I’m hopeful that she will improve for the run at Ayr given that it was her first start after 655 days off and, if doing so, she looks to have a strong chance.
There is the concern that she might be fragile given the long break between her debut and second start so she could fail to reproduce the quality of those performances.
However, I think she’s overpriced given her achievements compared to her rivals and any 7/2 or bigger appeals.
