The Panel's Glorious Goodwood Festival Best Bets

One of the most eagerly awaited meetings of the season, Glorious Goodwood provides top-class racing across five days, usually accompanied by beautiful sunshine.

Three Group 1 races take place, including the Sussex Stakes, Goodwood Cup and Nassau Stakes.

All three have been won by some of the best horses in history, and another group of equine excellence will battle for the titles this year.

With a number of Group 2 and Group 3 contests as well as some competitive handicaps on the cards, it promises to be another classic week at the West Sussex track.

Below, The Panel have picked out three of the best Glorious Goodwood tips in 2025.

The Panel Best Bets For Glorious Goodwood

The Panel Tip 1: Tuesday 13:20 - Bolster - 0.5pts Each-Way

The Goodwood Cup is the highlight on day one at Goodwood, but that is likely to be a battle between two Aidan O'Brien horses and is not worth betting on.

Therefore, The Panel's first tip is an each-way bet at a massive price.

The Chesterfield Cup Handicap is always a tricky race to decipher, and this year's contest is no different.

Saying that, one outsider that stands out is the top-weight Bolster.

The five-year-old finished last season with two wins and has returned in fine form this season.

His stamina let him down last time, and he will be much better suited by today's trip.

The Panel Tip 2: Tuesday 14:30 - Kinross - 1pt Win

The Panel's second tip of the week comes in the Group 2 Lennox Stakes.

Kinross has a fantastic record in this race and, although he is now an eight-year-old, he should be competitive again.

He has twice won this race and was as good as ever on his comeback race at Haydock.

Another big run at a track he loves should be on the cards.

The Panel Tip 3: Thursday 15:05 - Whirl - 1pt Win

The final selection of the week comes in the form of Whirl in the Group 1 Nassau Stakes.

It looks like a straight battle between the selection and See The Fire, but this year's Oaks runner-up should come out on top.

Aidan O'Brien's filly gets 9lbs from her main rival, and arrives in fine form after an easy win in the Pretty Polly Stakes last time.

She still has room for improvement over this trip, and at 6/4, she is well worth a bet.
