Pennsylvania Gaming Revenue Hits New High of $597 Million In October

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) revealed on Wednesday that all gaming revenue across all licensed categories in Pennsylvania totaled $597 million in October.
This represents an increase of 20.2% from October 2024 and an 11.4% rise from revenue generated last month in September 2025.
iGaming generated the highest adjusted gross revenue of all categories at $251.1m, surpassing last month’s record of $238.2m, both previously set in March 2025.
This reflects a 32.8% year-over-year increase.
This also makes Pennsylvania the third US state this year to generate over $250m in monthly iGaming revenue, with both Michigan and New Jersey setting new records as well.
Of the total, online slots accounted for $190.8m (up 35.4%), online table games accounted for $57.8m (a new record) and online poker accounted for $2.5m.
Retail casino activity experienced steady, though slower, growth.
Slot machine revenue statewide amounted to $203.5m, a 1.4% year-over-year increase despite a slight reduction in operational machines (24,299 in October 2024 down from 24,485).
Retail table games totaled $76m, a 3% increase over the prior year. In total, land-based gaming contributed $279.5m to the monthly count.
Tax revenue from all gaming activities exceeded $289m for the month, with iGaming alone delivering $112.7m — including a record $73.3m in direct state taxes.
Among individual operators:
● Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the state with $114.5m in total revenue, a 38.7% year-over-year increase, driven largely by its online platforms (primarily DraftKings and BetMGM skins), which produced $98.7m in taxable iGaming winnings.
● Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $101.3m (up 25.2%), bolstered by FanDuel Casino’s record $71.4m in adjusted iGaming revenue.
● Rivers Casino Philadelphia generated $57.5m (up 8.3%), supported by BetRivers’ $38.2m online performance.
● Parx Casino reported $56.1m (up 8.6%).
