St. Patrick’s Day brings a surge of festive energy to New York, and the state’s leading casinos are embracing the holiday spirit with a lively gaming atmosphere.

Ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, the Gambling.com research team set out to find the best New York casino to visit for the festivities.

Researchers analysed Tripadvisor reviews of casinos across the state, looking for the keywords luck, green, magic, gold and festive. 

They then calculated the percentage of reviews containing these “St. Patrick’s Day” keywords before ranking each venue by its St. Patrick’s Day Review Percentage.

Resorts World Casino NYC Named New York’s Top St. Patrick’s Day Casino

Resorts World Casino in New York City has been named the best casino in New York to visit for St. Patrick’s Day, according to the Gambling.com study.

The venue secured the top spot with a St. Patrick’s Day Review Percentage of 7.90%.

Resorts World New York City boasts more than 5,800 popular slot machines and electronic table games, along with 1,300 table games, including baccarat, blackjack, Big Six Wheel, craps, roulette, three-card poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Empire City Casino ranks second with a St. Patrick’s Day Review Percentage of 6.91%, while Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino rounds out the top three with 6.12%.

Tioga Downs Just Misses The Podium

Tioga Downs Casino Resort narrowly missed out on a top-three finish, placing fourth with a score of 4.70%, while Vernon Downs takes fifth with 4.60%.

Despite missing the podium, Tioga Downs still offers plenty for visitors, featuring more than 890 slot machines, 28 table games and six poker tables, plus a High Limit room with 34 slot machines and four blackjack tables.

The remainder of the top 10 includes:

  • Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady – #6 (4.59%)
  • Turning Stone Casino Resort – #7 (4.34%)
  • Hamburg Gaming – #8 (3.62%)
  • Seneca Allegany Casino – #9 (3.40%)
  • Jake’s 58 Hotel & Casino – #10 (3.31%)
