Resorts World Bet On The Verge of NJ Launch

Right now, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has the power to approve a new NJ online casino, Resorts World Bet.

Should Resorts World Bet receive approval, they’ll join The Garden State iGaming ecosystem in 2024.

Partnership Details

With a 2024 launch, Resorts World Bet would be partnered with Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City and Resorts World, which it’s named after. This would be the first state Resorts World Bet would launch in.

In addition to this online casino, the partners are also looking to receive approval from the Division of Gaming Enforcement to launch online sports betting, but that timeline isn’t as clear as that for the online casino.

Per the Division of Gaming Enforcement, Resorts World has a May 4, 2024, deadline to pay two application fees.

“This transactional waiver will be only for the narrow scope of approving payments pursuant to [two sections] of the agreement. The parties require additional approval to effectuate any other portion of the agreement,” the Divison of Gaming Enforcement said.

More on Resorts World

For some background, Resorts World is owned by Genting Group, which has a casino in Nevada called Resorts World Las Vegas. Genting also runs Resorts World NYC and has online sports betting in New York.

Now, we are waiting for Resorts World to pay the fees by May 4, 2024, and for any word on a launch date.
