With $16.4 Million in Revenue, WV Sets New Record

January 2024 was a record-breaking month for West Virginia online casinos. The state recorded a collective $16.4 million in revenue, topping December 2023’s mark and the previous record of $15.9 million.

This comes even after some operators have left the state and new ones have joined.

In addition to $16.4 million in January 2024 and $15.9 million in December 2023, the state hit $15.5 million in October 2023.

In all, four online casino licenses were responsible for the new record:

  • Hollywood Casino Charles Town: $7 million
  • The Greenbrier: $6.8 million
  • Mountaineer Casino: $2.2 million
  • Mardi Gras Casino: Over $399k

These licenses offer the following online sportsbooks:

  • Hollywood Casino Charles Town: DraftKings, Fanatics, Hollywood.
  • The Greenbrier: FanDuel, BetMGM, Golden Nugget
  • Mountaineer Casino: Caesars, BetRivers
  • Mardi Gras Casino: Betly

Now, the state will look to top those figures in February 2024.
