No matter the time of year in the sporting calendar, Fanatics offers no shortage of markets or bet types, making it a valuable addition to your existing sportsbook lineup. The betting site covers the same core sports as other top options and offers a deep player props market, allowing users to easily find betting opportunities in every game.

Built-in live betting adds to the experience, and trending arrows show how many other bets have been placed on a specific match or market.

Fanatics also frequently features parlays and spotlights from featured celebrities, which adds a fun, social-media-like feel to the platform.

That said, while the core offerings are strong, Fanatics is still lacking some niche sports compared to more established sportsbooks.

In our testing, our reviewers gave Fanatics Sportsbook one of the highest grades for its promotions, largely because of the FanCash Rewards program. FanCash provides cashback based on the odds of your wager, and you receive it whether your bet wins or loses. That cashback can then be used toward bonus bets or other purchases.

While there aren’t many ongoing promotions for existing customers, FanCash remains one of the most unique rewards programs in betting and can be very lucrative.

Some practices considered promotions elsewhere are built into Fanatics’ features, including the Fair Play refund policy that protects bets that would otherwise lose due to player injury.

Bettors should also watch for odds boosts and other short-term offers, such as profit boosts, that expand wagering opportunities on major events and tournaments.

Fanatics’ approved banking methods were somewhat limited when the sportsbook launched, but, based on our review of the app, the list now includes PayPal, Venmo, debit cards, Apple Pay, online banking, and wire transfers.

While the deposit options are solid, the withdrawal methods are more limited, and having more available would make sense for a growing sportsbook. Some users would also like to see credit cards added as a deposit option.

In our testing, Fanatics processed PayPal withdrawals faster than any other operator we evaluated. Since withdrawal delays are among the most common complaints with newer sportsbook operators, this helps address a major pain point. Even with limited banking options overall, the speed of withdrawals stands out as a positive.

Fanatics Sportsbook has the most room for improvement in customer support. Contacting the service team through live chat can be challenging, with quite a bit of red tape to get through before reaching a real person, as users must start with an AI bot. During our testing, it did not take much effort to bypass the bot, but app users clearly want additional methods and more direct access to a human being, according to comments we reviewed.

Other than live chat, the only way to contact customer support is by email, which can take time to receive a response. With only two support options available, bettors may find it harder to trust that they have reliable access to help when issues arise.

Fanatics is a well-known name in online retail and has brought that recognition into the sportsbook space, along with a unique rewards program that is typically integrated with the welcome bonus. We were not surprised to see that Fanatics receives positive reviews for both the app and the company overall.

Given its licenses in 20+ states, it's clear that Fanatics Sportsbook meets rigorous regulatory standards, giving users confidence in its security, software, and payment processes. The platform uses a fully encrypted SSL domain for placing bets, and our experts felt very comfortable with the brand’s security level, given the steps taken to protect user information. 

That said, it remains one of the newer online sportsbooks and still has room to grow. We have also seen complaints about the quality of merchandise from Fanatics’ online retailers, which is a key component of the FanCash program.

Fanatics Sportsbook is only available as an app, with no desktop betting. Because Fanatics is app-only, site and app reviews are effectively identical. The desktop site is basically a placeholder, offering information such as available states and a QR code to download the app, but users cannot place bets there.

In our testing, the Fanatics app provided a fast, intuitive experience with quick page load times, easy navigation, and useful, personalized recommendations. The home screen is similar to other social media apps, so it often looks different from those of other sports betting apps.

Fanatics Sportsbook has done an excellent job delivering a pleasant user experience, with features that help the brand stand out as more than just a sports betting operator. The cross-promotional approach of tying rewards on Fanatics’ retail site to bets placed on Fanatics Sportsbook supports a connected customer experience across platforms.

In our experience, scrolling through the app was smooth, with little lag on iOS and Android. The mobile app’s top and bottom menus work well, though the homepage can feel somewhat cluttered as you scroll, which may be less appealing to users who prefer a simpler layout. The ability to watch live NFL games directly in the app encourages live betting and timely promos, helping Fanatics deliver a user experience that compares well with other major U.S. sportsbooks

Responsible Gambling: 8.25/10

Fanatics has done excellent work to ensure users have a strong responsible gaming experience, with responsible gaming information easily accessible through the app’s “RG” icon at the top of the homepage.

What’s nice about betting on football at Fanatics Sportsbook is that live streaming is built into the Fanatics app. Fanatics offers dynamic live betting features, including an in-game tracker, live stats, and a real-time scoreboard.

Watching NFL games within the app (free for 10 minutes, then requires a minimum $1 bet) helps Fanatics stay competitive with other operators like BetMGM and supports its standing as one of the better NFL betting sites on the market. While requiring a wager makes sense from a business perspective, our reviewers noted that broader access could improve repeat engagement.

Fanatics Sportsbook’s betting odds are competitive, but not exceptionally so, and generally align with other major sportsbooks. As such, they offer less value than some of the best sites for odds, such as bet365.

In terms of odds, what sets Fanatics apart is its tiered FanCash rewards system, which gives users 1% to 10% of their bet amount back, depending on the wager's risk level. Longer odds, such as +7000 or greater, earn higher FanCash percentages. This system adds an extra layer of value for bettors, particularly when wagering on an underdog, beyond the odds themselves.
