This group of players has shown admirable mental strength too, a trait not readily associated with previous iterations of the team. 

Inter are an excellent team in their own right, but how will they react to losing out to Napoli in the Serie A title race last weekend?

Champions League finals are always intriguing affairs given what is at stake, but we have not been treated to a truly thrilling showpiece for some time.

Champions League Final Preview: Dembele To Score

Whatever happens on Saturday, this has been the best season of Ousmane Dembele’s career. 

Previously renowned as a talented, but inconsistent winger with a questionable end product, the France international has turned into one of Europe’s most prolific and reliable attackers.

Dembele has scored a total of 33 goals across all competitions this season, including eight in the Champions League. 

He has not been quite as productive of late, but that is due to his minutes have been managed by Enrique to keep him fresh for the final.

In PSG’s most important game over the last couple of months, Dembele scored the only goal to beat Arsenal 1-0 in the semi-final, first leg at the Emirates.

“I have changed a lot, especially when it comes to my position [on the pitch], my style of play,” Dembele told UEFA. 

“He [Enrique] gives me a lot of advice, and yes, I have changed a lot of things in my game, even though I'm still using my natural skills. And this is paying off.”

Dembele can cap off a fine individual campaign by making the net bulge against Inter in the Champions League final.
