Club World Cup Final Odds: The Panel's Three Tips For The Tournament Final

The Club World Cup concludes this weekend, and betting sites make Paris Saint-Germain the favourites to beat Chelsea in Sunday’s final at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
PSG thumped Real Madrid 4-0 in the semis, demolishing Xabi Alonso’s side in style. Before that, they eliminated Bayern Munich, winning 2-0 in the last eight, having previously eased their way past Inter Miami without getting out of second gear.
Unlike PSG, who topped their group with six points from nine, the same tally was only enough for second spot for Chelsea.
The Blues then beat Benfica 4-1 after coming on strong in extra time, before winning back-to-back matches against two Brazilian outfits: Palmeiras (2-1) and Fluminense (2-1).

Both sides won silverware in 2024/25. PSG claimed a historic treble in the form of the Champions League, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France.
Chelsea won the Conference League - not quite as prestigious, perhaps, but the first trophy of the post-Roman Abramovich era at Stamford Bridge.
Will PSG march on this weekend by confirming their presumed status as the best club side in the world right now, or can Chelsea pull off what would surely go down as one of their biggest victories since Enzo Maresca's appointment as manager?

PSG Should Have Too Much
PSG suffered a rare setback in the Club World Cup group stage, losing 1-0 to Botafogo on matchday two. Other than that, they have been perfect.
PSG thrashed Atletico Madrid 4-0 in their first outing in the USA, while in the knockout rounds, they comfortably defeated Bayern Munich and Real Madrid without conceding a goal.
Luis Enrique’s team certainly cannot be accused of being flat-track bullies.
It is true that you can only beat what is in front of you, but Chelsea’s route to the final has been considerably kinder.
With all due respect to Benfica, they have not yet faced what you would call a genuine European powerhouse.
Chelsea were fortunate that Bayern ended up on the other side of the draw, and that Manchester City suffered a shock defeat by Al Hilal in the round of 16.
PSG have blitzed virtually everyone they have faced in the last few months, and it is difficult to see how Chelsea will be able to stop them.
The Parisians deserve to be clear favourites with football betting sites for the Club World Cup’s showpiece encounter.

PSG Attack Difficult To Stop
PSG were nothing short of sensational against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
They blew the Spanish giants away in East Rutherford, establishing a 3-0 lead by the 24th minute and continuing to exert control thereafter. Madrid, one of the best sides in the world, had no answer to the European champions.
PSG are a balanced, coherent and well-rounded team. It is remarkable that they have conceded only one goal in their six games at this tournament, despite facing the likes of Madrid, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
It is difficult to create chances against this PSG team, never mind score against them.
Chelsea will have their work cut out going forward, but they will also have their hands full at the other end.
PSG’s attacking quality was on full display against Madrid, and they will continue in the same vein this weekend.
Luis Enrique’s team should score on either side of half-time in the final, a bet priced at 5/4 with betting apps.

Dembele Can Round Off Best Ever Season
The Club World Cup is technically part of the 2024/25 season, which gives PSG the chance to be crowned kings of the globe and of the continent in the same campaign.
But whatever happens on Sunday, this will go down as the best season of Ousmane Dembele’s career, by some distance.
Prior to this term, the France international was widely viewed as an unreliable talent who was chronically unable to find consistency.
This season, though, everything seems to have clicked. Dembele’s end product has improved immensely, and all of a sudden, he is the leading contender to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.
The former Barcelona forward’s goal against Real Madrid on Wednesday was his 35th of 2024/25.
Chelsea will have to keep a close eye on him this weekend, but even that might not be enough to keep Dembele off the scoresheet.
The Frenchman is the obvious pick in the anytime scorer market.
