All eyes will be on England in Euro 2024 Group C as Gareth Southgate’s men look to finally end their major competition triumph drought.
The Three Lions were beaten finalists in the last iteration of the tournament, losing out on penalties to Italy in Euro 2020 at Wembley.
Despite their failure on home soil and defeat to France in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup, England are favourites with UK betting sites to win Euro 2024 and end 58 years of hurt.

The Three Lions lost in extra-time to Croatia at the 2018 World Cup before suffering another agonising defeat to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on penalties.
Harry Kane joined a long list of England players to suffer from the penalty spot after blazing his spot-kick over the bar in his side’s quarter-final defeat to France at the 2022 World Cup.
There has been a lot of pain endured by England fans and players to say the least, especially over the last six years at major tournaments.
Still, Southgate has a squad stacked with talent in the final third, but defensive issues could loom large along with the negative approach often adopted by the Three Lions head coach.
With Kane, Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and even Cole Palmer, England have the potential to cause a lot of teams problems in Germany.
Their recent form has been a cause for concern, losing their last warm-up match to Iceland at Wembley, while looking largely ineffective in the final third.

Denmark could be ones to watch in Group C, especially if England are not on their mettle. The Danes reached the semi-finals of Euro 2020 before being beaten by the Three Lions in extra-time.
Denmark weren’t so successful in the 2022 World Cup, bowing out at the group stage, losing two of their three matches. They responded in Euro 2024 by qualifying top of Group F to punch their ticket to the finals in Germany.
Manager Kasper Hjulmand has a good blend of experience and rising talent that could do some damage.
Rasmus Hojlund is the standout, and although he endured an inconsistent first season at Manchester United, his international record of seven goals in 14 appearances will make him a dangerous customer for his Group C opponents.
He’s an interesting option at 10/1 on betting apps to be the highest scoring player from the Premier League at Euro 2024.

Euro 2024 Group C Tips: Serbia To Notch One Win

Serbia are embarking on their first European Championship campaign since 2000, but have competed three times at the World Cup during that period. However, they had limited success, failing to emerge from the group stage at all three tournaments.
Manager Dragan Stojkovic has a challenge on his hands steering his team into the knockout phase.
Serbia finished second in their qualifying group, powered by the goals of Aleksandar Mitrovic. Mitrovic leads a talented frontline, although Dusan Vlahovic and Luka Jovic have not developed into the fearsome predators in the final third that their potential threatened.
Serbia can make life difficult for both England and Denmark in Group C, but their record in major competitions has been noted.
After taking only one point from their 2022 World Cup campaign, and a combined six from the 2010 and 2018 World Cups, The Panel are not expecting a charge towards the top two.

Euro 2024 Group C Prediction: Expect Goals From Slovenia
Slovenia

As Slovenia are 400/1 outsiders to win the Euros, both the bookies and The Panel are not expecting great things from them in Group C.
They do have two quality players in the form of Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak and RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, but it's unlikely to be enough to advance to the knockout phase.
Slovenia performed well in qualifying to finish second in their group, finishing level on points with Denmark. But, their records against their Group C opponents does not inspire confidence, winning only one of their 20 matches, which came against Serbia.
Combine that with their lack of major tournament experience and The Panel are widely expecting Slovenia to finish bottom of the group.
Having said that, Slovenia did score 22 goals in qualifying and with Sesko, one of the rising stars of European football in their side, they may cause a stir in the final third.
