Horse Racing Treble For Saturday:

Ayr 14:15 - Kabral Du Mathan

The Paul Nicholls trained Kabral Du Mathan has demonstrated consistent form in his career thus far for a five-year-old gelding.

With two wins and two second-place finishes from four starts in the UK, he has shown plenty of ability.

He secured victories at Huntingdon and Kempton Park, and placed second in competitive handicaps at Ascot and Windsor.

Paul Nicholls has won this race three times, most recently with Rubaud in 2023 and he will be hoping Kabral Du Mathan can give him a fourth win in the race.

Ayr 15:35 - Olympic Man

The father and son partnership of Willie and Patrick Mullins were first past the post in the Grand National at Aintree last weekend, and they are hoping to double up in the Scottish National at Ayr.

Olympic Man enters the race fresh from winning at Navan in January, when beating Foxy Lady by a length and a half.

Danny Mullins was riding that day, but with Patrick in the saddle, it shows the faith Willie has in the horse.

Chosen Witness looks to have a good chance for Sean O'Keeffe on board.

Ayr 16:10 - Quebecois

Quebecois impressed when winning comfortably on his hurdling debut at Chepstow in 2024 and backed that up with a runner-up finish in the Grade 2 Winter Hurdle at Sandown.

The addition of a tongue tie for this step up to three miles should be beneficial, especially as he’s always given the impression that stamina is his strong suit.

He should appreciate the good to soft ground here, having struggled slightly on the quicker surface at Kempton last time out, where a costly error two out dented his chances.

With this being his final appearance over hurdles before switching to fences, we should expect a strong showing.
