He has been a rare bright spot at Goodison Park over the last couple of years and continues to deliver for the club.
Pickford is comfortable in possession, an underrated shot-stopper and a vocal presence between the posts.
Moreover, Everton have tied Pickford down until 2027 and selling him now would give the club very little chance to source a replacement.
The fans are already unhappy with the ownership and their protests could descend into open mutiny if their No.1 was let go.
Tottenham Favourites Should Late Move Materialise
Tottenham had Hugo Lloris as their first choice behind the defence for 11 seasons, but that has now changed.
The Frenchman’s form declined last term and Spurs decided to move on, but he is actually still on their books at the time of writing.
Regardless, Guglielmo Vicario is now Tottenham’s go-to goalkeeper. The north Londoners signed him this summer, so they are not exactly on the hunt for a new No.1.
That is why it is a surprise to see them available at 3/1 with football betting sites to sign Pickford with just a few days of the transfer window remaining.
Chelsea Can Never Be Dismissed When It Comes To Transfers
Chelsea have spent over £1bn in the Todd Boehly era, which only began midway through 2022.

West Ham Have Two Decent Picks Between Sticks
West Ham are available at the same 12/1 price with BetVictor as Man Utd to sign Pickford, but it is equally hard to see this deal being done.

West Ham already have two good goalkeepers on the books, so they too will not be moving for Pickford.
Brighton And Crystal Palace Already Well Stocked
Brighton (14/1) spent just over £16m to land Bart Verbruggen in July, and the Dutchman looks like the perfect fit for the side under Roberto De Zerbi.
Jason Steele showed last season that he is a more than adequate option too.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace (rated 16/1 with betting apps) are on the verge of completing the signing of Dean Henderson from Manchester United.
He will battle it out with England colleague Sam Johnstone for the starting spot at Selhurst Park.
