NetEnt Teases New Monopoly Money Line Slot Due Out Next Week

NetEnt, owned by Evolution Gaming, has unveiled early details of its upcoming Monopoly game, Monopoly Money Line.
The slot, played on a 5x3 grid and offering 10 paylines, is slated for a January 15 launch and is the latest in a series of similarly themed iGaming titles announced this week alone.
As you would expect from an officially licensed title, especially from NetEnt, Monopoly Money Line has a very clear Monopoly theme.
Basic symbols are 10-A, with premium symbols including the iron, car, and ship playing tokens.
Other symbols include Mr Monopoly, who was previously called Rich Uncle Pennybags.
The game has a 96.18% RTP and a maximum win of 10,078x the original stake. It has high volatility, and while prizes are awarded for landing lines of symbols, the main focus is on the game’s bonus rounds.

The respin feature can trigger randomly during the base game and sees a Walking Wild train symbol land on the reels.
With every respin, the train moves one step towards the edge of the reels before a final respin featuring all of the train’s carts.
The train carts contain wilds with bonus multiplier values between 2x and 5x, or scatter symbols.
Scatter symbols also play a significant part in the base game. Landing three starts the free spins round.
Played on a 5x5 grid, the round only includes property symbols, collector symbols, and golden tickets.

The gold ticket awards up to 15 prizes, which can include multipliers as well as Chance cards that offer additional bonuses like new prize trains and large prizes.
Property and collector symbols are sticky, remaining where they land until the end of the bonus round.
Property symbols have values up to 5x, while collector symbols collect all values displayed on property cards when they land.
Monopoly Money Line has high volatility, and the design is clearly geared towards the bonus features.
It is well designed, sticking very closely to the Monopoly theme, and it has reasonable RTP and maximum win figures, which will likely make it a hit.

Launching next week, the title is just one of a growing number of existing and planned Monopoly slots.
In July, gaming giant Hasbro announced it had signed a multi-year licensing deal with a handful of iGaming companies, including Evolution. And the deal is bearing fruit.
Earlier this week, another Evolution-owned studio, Big Time Gaming, launched the Monopoly Deluxe slot and instant win game Monopoly Tapcards.
It will follow these releases with the February launch of Monopoly Rush Hour, while Red Tiger Gaming, also owned by Big Time Gaming, is launching Monopoly Cash Is King at the end of January.
Monopoly is a safe theme for iGaming titles because it is widely recognised.
Owned by Hasbro since 1992, the board game was launched as The Landlord’s Game, designed by Lizzie Maggie, in 1904.
Such is the cultural impact of the game, which sits behind just Chess and Checkers as being the best-selling board game of all time, that it is being turned into a Hollywood movie by Margot Robbie.
