Who Do You Want Your Club To Sign In January's Transfer Window?

Will Liverpool sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi? Who will win the race to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo? How much money will be spent during the winter transfer window?
All these questions and many more will be answered before the window shuts at 7pm on Monday, February 2.
We asked the stars of our show ‘That’s Offside” to see who they would like their club to sign in the coming weeks.
Eagles Eye Gallagher
FA Cup holders Crystal Palace are juggling their Premier League programme with their Europa Conference League commitments.
The Eagles will want to push on in the second half of the season to try to secure a place in next season's Champions League, and the addition of one of their former players could help them achieve their goal.
According to Palace fan Ollie Thomas (@TalkCPFC), there is just one player he would like his club to sign in the coming weeks.
"We badly need more depth in attack, but I am a nostalgic person at heart," said Ollie.
"We were linked to Conor Gallagher in the summer.
"We don't need any more central midfielders, as it's probably a position we don't need to bring in any more players in, but I'd like us to sign Conor Gallagher.
"Bring him home - make it happen and we'll win the league".
Fulham Fancy Hackney
Fulham manager Marco Silva was under a bit of pressure recently after a disappointing run of results left them close to the relegation zone.
However, three successive wins have helped the Cottagers jump to 10th in the table and suddenly they are eyeing up a place in Europe next season.
Sammy James (@MrSammyJames) believes the addition of one of the Championship's best players this season could be a shrewd piece of business.
"Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough would be a class signing," Sammy said.
"I still think we need strength and depth in midfield and felt we could have signed one more midfielder in the summer.
"However, with Boro looking pretty good in the Championship, he might be tricky to get."
City's Midfield Needs Anderson
Elliot Anderson has flourished since leaving Newcastle to join Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024.
He is beginning to become an important player in the England set-up as well, and he will have one eye on being in Thomas Tuchel's squad for this summer's World Cup.
Forest as a team have struggled to replicate the form they showed last season and a move to Manchester City might be just right at this time in his career.
City fan Stephen McInerney would certainly welcome it.
"Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest," he replied when asked which player he would want City to sign.
"We really need a midfielder because everything is on Nico Gonzalez. Bernardo Silva doesn't have the legs any more and Rodri isn't as fit as he used to be.
"Anderson would change City's midfield and he'd add a bit of steel."
Gunners Want To Win Semenyo Race
Antoine Semenyo is likely to grab the majority of headlines as his future continues to be the hot topic of conversation, with a number of clubs eyeing the winger.
January might see a bidding war for the Bournemouth star, who is believed to be in advanced talks with Manchester City, but a lot can happen before any deal is confirmed.
Arsenal fan Lee Judges believes the addition of the 25-year-old could be the final piece in their title-winning jigsaw.
Asked who he would like the Gunners to sign, Lee replied: "Semenyo.
"We just need that little bit of extra quality on the left-hand side. Leandro Trossard is very, very good there, but he's 32.
"I just think the left side lets us down, when you look at Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke on the right-hand side.
"We need an upgrade on the left. Forget about Liverpool - he's a Gooner."
Reds Want Semenyo Too
Liverpool look to have recovered from their drastic loss of form that saw them lose six of seven games from the end of September to the end of November.
Despite spending close to £500million in the summer, the Reds are well off the pace in the title race, but they will not surrender their title lightly.
Liverpool fan Laurence McKenna issued a direct plea to the club's head of recruitment Richard Hughes to trigger the £65m release clause.
"Pay the release clause, get him in. Do it Richard, do it," Laurence demanded.
"We've put in some of the ground work ahead of other clubs and the clubs that have been hung out there are maybe a way of getting more money for the player to start a bidding war.
"I think he probably wants to work with Hughes and he could be sold on the idea of being the future guy for Liverpool because a few players will be leaving.
"He [plays] in a position we badly need to fill because we need that level of threat, creativity and speed."
Osimhen Would Thrive At Chelsea
Victor Osimhen shocked many people when he decided to leave Napoli to join Galatasaray in the summer of 2025.
The 26-year-old has his best days ahead of him and Chelsea fan Shaun Purcell would love them to be at Stamford Bridge.
"Considering Chelsea have spent [a lot] on about 500 players, we still need two or three more players," Shaun said.
"We have enough cover at the back, although I'd want more quality there and I'd look to Guehi.
"In terms of what we really need, we need a proper striker. With the injuries to Liam Delap recently, we should have put the money out there to sign Victor Osimhen.
"The world of football is struggling for strikers right now. We had opportunities to sign him, but we didn't. We just need to pay the money and get him here."
