Novak Djokovic will bid to win a fifth consecutive Wimbledon title when the world’s best players converge upon SW19 this summer.
UK betting sites make him the odds-on favourite after his superb victory in the French Open at Stade Roland Garros.
However, he will need to be at his brilliant best to overcome challenges such as world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, the talented Daniil Medvedev and grass court specialists like Jannik Sinner.

World No. 2 Arnya Sabalenka will return to Wimbledon after the ban on Belarusian and Russian athletes was lifted.

Back Djokovic To Clinch Another Title
Djokovic became the most decorated male tennis player of all time when he beat Casper Ruud in the French Open final on June 11.
It was his 23rd Grand Slam win, leaving him one ahead of Rafael Nadal and three clear of Roger Federer in the all-time stakes.
The Serbian superstar could now equal Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slams if he wins Wimbledon this summer.
He has loomed large over the tournament in the modern era, winning it seven times – including the last four Wimbledon titles.
That makes it his second most successful Grand Slam, behind the Australian Open but well ahead of the French Open and the US Open.
His game is well suited to grass, and his mental fortitude, stamina and accuracy regularly allow him to sweep opponents aside in best-of-five matches.
Novak Djokovic has an 86-10 record at Wimbledon, and his last defeat at the All-England Club came all the way back in 2017, when he retired with an injury during his quarter-final clash with Tomas Berdych.
He beat Alcaraz - a clay-court specialist - en route to winning the French Open a few weeks ago, and it is hard to see anyone beating him when he is in this sort of form, so odds of 7/10 look tempting.
Korda Looks Like An Interesting Each-Way Shot For Wimbledon
There are plenty of interesting each-way options in the men’s singles tournament, including Sinner, Taylor Fritz and Holger Rune.
However, one player that could go under the radar on tennis betting sites is Sebastian Korda, who will be making just his second appearance at Wimbledon.
He made his debut in 2021, when he beat Alex de Minaur, Antoine Hoang and Britain’s Dan Evans en route to the fourth round.
Korda (33/1) was a little unfortunate to lose to the powerful Karen Khachanov in five sets at that stage, and he could go deeper into the tournament this time around.
He missed last year’s event after suffering from shin splints, but he now appears to be back to his physical peak.
The American came close to winning a second ATP title earlier this year, when he beat Andy Murray, Roberto Bautista Agut, Sinner and Yoshihito Nishioka to book a place in the Adelaide International.
He had a championship point against Djokovic in that match, but he ended up losing after a remarkable fightback from the Serb.
Yet Korda should be well-suited to the grass at Wimbledon, having recently displayed sparkling form at Queen’s Club.
He beat Evans, Frances Tiafoe and Cameron Norrie without dropping a set to reach the semi-finals, only to lose to Alcaraz.
Korda is an aggressive player with a tendency to come to the net, so his game looks tailor-made for grass.
The Wimbledon draw has not yet been announced, so we do not know if he will be on the same side of the draw as Djokovic, but if Korda avoids the defending champion, he could reach the final.
Back Rybakina To Defend Her Crown At Wimbledon
Rybakina was far too powerful for her rivals at Wimbledon last year, and she stands an excellent chance of defending her crown.
The Moscow-born star, who represents Kazakhstan, destroyed former champion Simona Halep in the semi-finals last summer.
That teed up a final showdown with Jabeur, and Rybakina’s vicious baseline strokes were too hot for the Tunisian to handle.
Rybakina suffered a shock first-round defeat at the US Open later that year, but she returned to her best at the Australian Open in January.
She went into the tournament as the 22nd seed, but she comfortably dispatched the likes of Jelena Ostapenko and Victoria Azarenka to reach the final.
Rybakina took the first set, but she eventually lost to Sabalenka in a pulsating match in Melbourne.
She was going strong in the French Open before retiring with illness, and she will be a very formidable opponent for any of her rivals at Wimbledon.
Rybakina is now third in the WTA world rankings, which should result in a relatively favourable draw, and she is the one to beat in the Wimbledon odds.
Time For Coco Gauff To Come Of Age
It is now four years since Gauff pulled off a shock victory over Venus Williams in the first round at Wimbledon.
She was 15 at the time, and that performance saw her lauded as the next big thing in women’s tennis.
Gauff is still a teenager, having celebrated her 19th birthday in March, but she now has a lot more experience under her belt.
In January, she won her third WTA title after beating Rebeka Masarova in straight sets in the Auckland Classic.
She also finished runner-up at the 2022 French Open, losing to Swiatek in the final, and she also reached the final of the US Open the year prior.
Gauff was a quarter-finalist at the French Open earlier this summer too, and she now has a 41-16 record in Grand Slam matches.
Her record at Wimbledon is 8-3, having reached the fourth round in 2019, the fourth round in 2021 and the third round in 2022.
This could be the year in which she comes of age, as she is fiercely talented, quick and powerful.
