Ford heads into this matchup against a Colts defense that allows 113.5 rushing yards per game and averages over 119 when they play at home.
Since taking over as the primary back since fellow running back Nick Chubb’s injury in Week 2, Ford is averaging 12 carries per game but had 17 in Week 6. He’s averaging just 4.0 yards per carry.
It’s unclear who will start for the Browns in this game, but whether it’s a returning Deshaun Watson, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, or P.J. Walker heads back out there, Ford will see plenty of work against a beatable Colts run defense.
