Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL Picks & Odds

⭐ My Best Bet: Gardner Minshew Under 0.5 Passing TDs (+165) at BetMGM

Our first Browns vs. Colts Prediction includes Indianapolis quarterback Gardner Minshew, who will be the starter for the remainder of the season following rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery.

This season, Minshew has three passing touchdowns on 138 attempts but is coming off a miserable performance, throwing three interceptions against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did throw a touchdown, but that was against a fair, easier defense.

The Browns shut down the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6, allowing an average of 0.8 passing touchdowns per game. They also only allow 121.4 passing yards per outing.

Getting +165 value and considering what this Browns defense has done all season to passing games, we think this is a safe wager.

For our NFL Picks and Props in Week 7 for the Browns vs. Colts prediction, look for Minshew to leave the game touchdown-less.

⭐ My Best Bet:Gardner Minshew Under 0.5 Passing TDs (+165) at BetMGM

Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL Picks & Odds

⭐ Jerome Ford Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel

Next up with our Browns vs. Colts Predictions, we’re turning things over to the Browns rushing attack—running back Jerome Ford.

Ford heads into this matchup against a Colts defense that allows 113.5 rushing yards per game and averages over 119 when they play at home.

Since taking over as the primary back since fellow running back Nick Chubb’s injury in Week 2, Ford is averaging 12 carries per game but had 17 in Week 6. He’s averaging just 4.0 yards per carry.

It’s unclear who will start for the Browns in this game, but whether it’s a returning Deshaun Watson, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, or P.J. Walker heads back out there, Ford will see plenty of work against a beatable Colts run defense. We also have to consider that he’ll have a limited quarterback no matter what—Watson coming back from injury and DTR’s and Walker’s overall ability.

Expect Ford to have an excellent game for our second NFL Week 7 Prediction.

⭐ Best Betting Pick: Jerome Ford Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel

Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL Picks & Odds

⭐  Jonathan Taylor Over 44.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at DraftKings

The final NFL Picks and Props wager we recommend for this Browns vs. Colts Prediction is centered around Colts running back Jonathan Taylor.

With this NFL Week 7 Pick, we’re aware that the Browns allow just 79 rushing yards per game with that number reduced to 55 on the road. We also know that Taylor has just 14 attempts over the past two weeks, combining for 37 yards and 2.6 yards per carry.

However, we’re taking them over here for two reasons—it’s his third game back, and Minshew will be wildly ineffective passing the ball here, forcing them to turn to the ground game.

There’s not a lot to go off statistically because Taylor has played so little. Still, this Colts offensive line has allowed Zack Moss to emerge as a top rusher in the league,. We think, based on volume and talent, Taylor can go over 44.5 rushing yards here for our final NFL Prediction in Week 7.
