Jacksonville State vs. #23 Wisconsin & St. Thomas-Minnesota vs #7 Marquette NCAAB Picks

CBB Parlay Pick #1: ⭐ Jacksonville St. vs. Wisconsin Under 130.5 pts + Marquette -19.5 (+100) at BetMGM

Jacksonville State heads to Kohl Center as a huge 19.5-point underdog with a total of 125.0 points. The Gamecocks have dropped two straight contests to East Tennessee State 61-59 and UIC 55-49. On the other side, Wisconsin put an end to its six-game winning streak last Saturday, suffering a heavy 98-73 defeat at No. 1 Arizona.

The Gamecocks and Badgers are both playing at a very slow pace, so we’ll start our NCAAB picks with the under in this game. Jacksonville State records 64.0 possessions per 40 minutes (355th in the nation). The Gamecocks lean on their defense, allowing 103.6 points per 100 possessions (156th) and forcing a turnover on 21.5% of opposing possessions (37th). They score just 98.4 points per 100 possessions (295th) on 29.3% shooting from deep (300th).

The Badgers tally 65.0 possessions per 40 minutes (341st). They score 115.2 points per 100 possessions (19th) while yielding 97.6 points in return (52nd). Wisconsin had allowed 64 or fewer points in five straight outings prior to that 25-point loss against Arizona. The Badgers held then-No. 24 Virginia to 41 points on November 20.

If you like NCAAB picks with strong betting trends, you should know that each of Jacksonville State’s last eight contests has gone under the total. Also, the under is 5-1 in Wisconsin’s last six games overall. We’ll buy a few points and take Under 130.5 Points (-230) at BetMGM for our first college basketball parlay pick.

St. Thomas-Minnesota is a massive 25-point dog tonight, according to BetMGM. The Tommies have won three straight games over Western Michigan 66-51, Milwaukee 75-71, and Chicago State 66-50, but keeping it close against Marquette will be a completely different challenge for St. Thomas-Minnesota.

Marquette is a top-15 team in the country in both offensive efficiency (117.1 points per 100 possessions) and defensive efficiency (94.1). The Golden Eagles have won two straight contests, outlasting Texas 86-65 and Notre Dame 78-59 in the process. They shouldn’t have any problems winning the Tommies game by 20 or more points.

The Tommies play at the fourth-slowest pace in the nation, tallying just 63.4 possessions per 40 minutes. The Golden Eagles (147th in pace, 69.6) will look to push the ball in transition and attack the rim a lot, so Marquette -19.5 (-260) at BetMGM is the second leg of our college basketball parlay today.

Furman vs. Tulane & East Carolina vs. Florida NCAAB Picks

CBB Parlay Pick #2: ⭐ Furman vs. Tulane Over 167.5 Points Plus Florida -9.5 (+105) at ESPN BET

The next stop on our NCAAB picks today is the Furman vs. Tulane showdown. The bookies are expecting to see a firecracker, and the total has been set at 173.5 points at ESPN BET. Tulane is second in the country in pace (75.5 possessions per 40 minutes), and Furman is 25th in this category (73.2).

Both teams have been prolific offensive-wise so far this season. Tulane scores 109.2 points per 100 possessions (79th) on 56.8 effective field goal percentage (15th). On the other side, Furman tallies 108.9 points per 100 possessions (84th) on 54.8 effective field goal percentage (43rd).

The Paladins and Green Wave are both struggling to defend, so let’s take the Over 167.5 Points (-210) at ESPN BET for our next NCAAB pick. Furman ranks 209th in defensive efficiency (106.1), and Tulane is 184th (105.1).

Florida is another team that loves to pick up the pace. The Gators notch 73.8 possessions per 40 minutes (17th). Per Bart Torvik, they are a top-35 team in the nation in both offensive and defensive efficiency. East Carolina (300th in pace, 66.7) will try its best to slow things down, but the Pirates are not a great defensive team and will struggle to contain the Gators.

The Pirates surrender 107.6 points per 100 possessions (254th) on 55.1% shooting from inside the arc (305th). The Gators will use their depth to torture East Carolina for all 40 minutes, as Florida has four players with points per game north of 12.0.

Florida has won two consecutive games over Merrimack 77-57 and Richmond 87-76. Each of the Gators’ six wins in 2023-24 has come by double digits, so we’ll finalize our college basketball parlay picks with Florida -9.5 (-260) at ESPN BET.
