The Las Vegas Raiders are a mess. On Wednesday, the team announced it had fired coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler. Linebackers coach Antonio Pierce was named the interim head coach. Offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi was also released. These moves came a day after the Raiders lost 26-14 to the Lions on Monday Night Football.

We like Giants +1.5 (-110) at FanDuel. The Raiders also announced current starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will be benched and rookie Aidan O'Connell will start going forward. There is simply too much overhaul going on for us to recommend any bet on the Raiders. New York is also 2-0-1 against the spread in its last three games as it has leaned on its defense and run game. Given all the changes, we're going to fade Las Vegas quarterback Aidan O'Connell. He had one start earlier this year and was OK before a game-losing interception, completing 61% of his passes for 238 yards against the Chargers. But New York has a better pass defense than the Chargers, so we expect O'Connell to struggle.

We're going with Aidan O'Connell Under 209.5 Passing Yards (-110) at BetMGM. The Giants have one of the better pass defenses, ranking fifth in opponents' completion percentage (59.9%) and is 12th in passing yards allowed per game (211.5).

O'Connell's 6 yards per pass attempt ranks 30th out of 34 quarterbacks in the league this season. We also expect a more conservative game plan in what should be a defensive battle as New York looks to control the clock with its ground game. This should result in fewer offensive opportunities for O'Connell and the Raiders offense, helping keep a low passing yardage total for O'Connell.

Saquon Barkley has had a heavy workload as the Giants continue to lean on their star back with quarterback Daniel Jones still out due to injury. Barkley has had 24, 21 and 36 carries in his last three games, and with that workload, we like him to have a big game against the Raiders.

We're going with Saquon Barkley Over 74.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Barkley is coming off his biggest yardage game of the season after gaining 128 yards and has gained at least 77 yards since his return from injury and will now get to face a Raiders defense coming off a short week and got torched on the ground Monday against the Lions.

Las Vegas is 27th in yards allowed per carry (4.5) and is 30th in rushing yards allowed per game (140.6). The Raiders just surrendered 152 yards rushing to Detroit running back Jaymhr Gibbs, and if Barkley is in line for a heavy workload, we like him to put up similar numbers.
