Here, we take a look at the first five games and choose our MLS picks from the best online betting sites. for the Playoffs battles.

Fourth place meets with fifth place from the Eastern Conference this weekend too, and Philadelphia Union is now +950 to beat New England Revolution 2-0 with Caesars.

Houston Dynamo vs. Real Salt Lake Predictions, Odds & Tips

⭐ MLS Best Bets #1: Houston to beat Salt Lake 2-0 (+1000) at DraftKings

Our MLS predictions today starts with Real Salt Lake at Houston Dynamo where the home team is the clear favorite.

Across the 34 regular season games, Houston would lose only twice at home and secure 11 victories out of the total 17 on home turf.

This made it the best home team in the Western Conference, and only Columbus Crew, Philadelphia and New England had better records.

During the regular season, these two met twice, and after a 0-0 tie in Houston, the Dynamo would head to Utah and eased to a 3-0 win over Salt Lake after a masterclass from Corey Baird.

Given the Dynamo’s home record and how they have gotten the better of RSL already this season, this is one of the easiest MLS picks we will make this Playoffs season.

LAFC vs. Vancouver Predictions, Odds & Tips

⭐MLS Best Bets #2: LAFC to beat Vancouver 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 (+300) at FanDuel

The MLS Cup holders are up next with LAFC welcoming Vancouver to the home of the champions. As predicted, LAFC is the clear favorite to win here and it remains second in the odds list to win the MLS Cup once again at +650.

Los Angeles finished third in the regular season Western Conference with 52 points and managed to win 10 of its 17 games at home.

This also saw it registered the third-best defensive record in the league with 39 goals conceded, while only St. Louis City and, oddly enough, Vancouver scored more than its 54.

Given that excellent record of 55 goals across 34 games for the Whitecaps, we think it will get a goal in its loss in Los Angeles.

Philadelphia Union vs. New England Predictions, Odds & Tips

MLS Best Bets #3:  Philadelphia to beat New England 2-0 (+950) at Caesars

Up next for our MLS Playoffs picks, we head to the Eastern Conference where Philadelphia and New England were merely separated by goals difference in the final standings.

Both teams finished on 55 points each with them securing 15 wins, nine ties and 10 defeats. The only difference was the Union's superior defensive record where it let in five fewer goals (41) but scored one less with 57 in total.

However, after winning 10 of its 17 home matches and losing only one of those games, Philadelphia is our pick here.

What's more, New England only won three times away from home in the regular season, losing eight games and getting a tie in the other six.

Orlando City vs Nashville Predictions, Odds & Tips

MLS Best Bets #4:  A tie at half time between Nashville and Orlando (+115) at BetMGM

Arguably the toughest game to call this MLS weekend is the match between Orlando City and Nashville.

Orlando finished second in the Eastern Conference and only six points adrift of the Supporters' Shield winners, Cincinnati. It amassed a record of 18 wins and lost only nine times and managed to secure 50% of those wins at home and the other 50% away.

It shows how great they were across the regular season, but against Nashville, Orlando won’t have the easiest game.

Nashville has the best defensive record in the MLS with 32 goals conceded from 34 games, and with Hany Mukhtar scoring 15 goals in this period too, it's always going to have a chance.

Orlando may edge out a win across the 90 minutes, but given the excellence these two teams possess in offense and defense, we see a tie happening at half time.

Seattle Sounders vs. Dallas Predictions, Odds & Tips

MLS Best Bets #5:  Seattle to beat Dallas and make a shutout (+172) at bet365

We conclude our MLS picks for this weekend in the Playoffs with Dallas at Seattle Sounders.

The latter has won the MLS Cup twice in the past seven years and it has also reached the Western Conference playoffs in four out of the past seven years too.

In truth, Seattle has one of the best records in recent history of the Playoffs, and with it meeting against a Dallas team that finished with seven fewer points and three fewer wins, we don't see anything but a win for the Sounders.

Alongside Nashville, Seattle had the best defensive record in the MLS regular season with only 32 goals let in, and by collecting 53 points, it finished only three adrift of St. Louis in first place.

These two sides met twice throughout the regular season, and it was a 1-1 tie in both games. Things have looked very different since the most recent game in September, however, as Seattle went on an unbeaten run thereafter, including a victory at St. Louis in the final regular season match of the year.

Dallas, on the other hand, clawed its way into the playoffs by winning only two of the seven games following the 1-1 tie with Seattle. With this said, we’re heading for a Seattle win.

As we look forward to the thrilling MLS matchups today, there's another exciting development on the horizon for sports betting enthusiasts. As of September 28, Kentucky has officially launched online sports betting, paving the way for the emergence of new sports betting apps Kentucky. This opens up a new realm of opportunities for fans and bettors alike. Stay tuned for more updates on this front.
