New York City vs. New York Red Bulls Predictions, Odds & Tips

⭐ MLS Best Bets #1: NYCFC and Red Bulls to tie (+250) at bet365

Our MLS predictions today start with the biggest game of the weekend that sees another mouthwatering Hudson River Derby.

This clash between New York’s biggest soccer teams is arguably as big as it's ever been with both teams sitting outside of the playoff spots and currently right by one another in the Eastern Conference. Currently, however, New York City is one point ahead of the New York Red Bulls.

Neither team has found any sort of consistency so far, and with NYCFC scoring just 28 goals and the Red Bulls only 24, they are two of the lowest scorers across all of MLS in 2023.

At the same time, the Pigeons have had 12 ties from 28 games, meaning almost a 50% record in registering ties this season, meaning no team has more ties on the board.

Our MLS picks lean towards another tie, as merely a handful of goals and just one point separate these two rivals in MLS right now.

Suggested MLS Picks:

Atlanta United vs. Inter Miami Predictions, Odds & Tips

⭐MLS Best Bets #2: Messi to score and Miami to beat Atlanta (+212) at FanDuel

Inter Miami fans can breathe a sigh of relief this weekend knowing that Lionel Messi returns to action after a break from MLS action with Argentina.

As was the case last week in his absence, the MLS odds from the sportsbooks favor a defeat for Miami, but even without Messi last weekend, it still managed to win to move to a 12-game unbeaten streak.

Miami defeated Sporting Kansas City 3-2 last weekend, and after also winning at Los Angeles FC and the New York Red Bulls since its Leagues Cup win, Messi and co. are now just six points behind the playoff spots.

Atlanta is in the playoffs right now, and with 51 goals scored in 2023, it is the third highest goalscoring team in MLS. However, given how Miami won without Messi, we can’t see how it loses now he is back. On the other hand, Atlanta likely still gets a goal.

Suggested MLS Picks:

Houston Dynamo vs. New England Revolution Predictions, Odds & Tips

MLS Best Bets #3:  Houston to beat St. Louis 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 (+360) at BetMGM

Two teams from the Western Conference charging towards a spot in the playoffs in the final few weeks are up next in Texas where St. Louis is nine points above Houston.

Since the second game of the 2023 season, St. Louis has been top of the Western Conference in what is its inaugural year in MLS. It remains seven points above second place and has now scored the most goals in MLS with 55.

However, our MLS picks goes for a home win in this one, as St. Louis has lost seven of its 14 games away from home, meaning its 50% loss ratio puts it as the worst away team in the top four of the Western Conference.

What’s more, with only two losses and nine wins in Houston in 2023, the Dynamo is the best home team in the Western Conference right now.

Suggested MLS Picks:

Philadelphia Union vs. Cincinnati Predictions, Odds & Tips

⭐ MLS Best Bets #4: BTTS and Philadelphia to beat Cincinnati (+240) at Caesars

Although the Hudson River Derby grabs the headlines heading into matchday 32 in the Eastern Conference, our MLS picks also look at the huge must-win battle between Philadelphia and Cincinnati.

The MLS odds for this one favors the Union, but it is set to be a very close encounter.

Right now, Philadelphia is fourth in the Eastern Conference and 11 points behind the league leaders, Cincinnati. In fact, with only four losses from 27 games, the Ohio team is still way clear in first and heading towards its first-ever Supporters' Shield triumph.

Given the unrivaled form of Cincinnati, our MLS predictions today head towards it challenging right until the final whistle in this game. However, considering Philadelphia’s home form, it should edge out a narrow win.

The Union has lost only one of its 12 home games in 2023, meaning only the New England Revolution has a better record on home turf. Finally, Julian Carranza and Brandon Vazquez have a combined goalscoring record of 27 goals in 2023, so keep an eye on these two.

Suggested MLS Picks:

Orlando City vs. Columbus Crew Predictions, Odds & Tips

⭐ MLS Best Bets #5: Columbus to beat Orlando and over 2.5 goals (+275) at DraftKings

Our MLS predictions today and MLS picks conclude with another Eastern Conference matchup between two playoff hopefuls.

Heading into this game, Columbus Crew is the top scorer in the Eastern Conference with 54 goals from only 28 games. Moreover, the Crew are only adrift of Orlando City in third by two points and they have won the same amount of games while Columbus has also bagged 13 more goals.

The MLS odds for this game puts Orlando as the narrow favorite, but with only six wins from 13 games at home in 2023, the Crew will fancy its chances of an upset.

This game could go either way, but the high-scoring nature of Columbus combined with only two shutouts in the past 10 games for Orlando, our MLS picks go for an away win.
