First up in our NBA predictions for this slate, we’re taking a look at the Pistons and 76ers game, focusing on Detroit’s young star, Cade Cunningham. 

His line on turnovers here is 5.5, and we’re taking the under. 

This season, Cunningham’s been living a bit dangerously with the ball, having five turnovers in his last two games but six or seven in each of his last five games. To begin the year, he had just eight through the first two games. 

Taking on the 76ers, the Pistons will face a team in which opponents have averaged 14.3 turnovers per game over the last three. This is 18th in the league.

Lastly, we’re going to tackle Jordan Poole’s point total here, which rests at 19.5. For this Wizards vs. Hornets prediction, we’re taking the over. 

This season, Poole is averaging 17.4 points per game. He’s had 20 or more points in just two games this season but has had some close calls with this line, scoring 18 and 19 in two other games. 

Against the Hornets, the Wizards will face a team that allows 123.1 points per game to opponents, and that average has ballooned to 126.7 over the past three games. Their defensive rating is also 119.2, which is third-least in the league. 

Poole is averaging 26.9 minutes per game this season. If you look at his point totals, you’ll notice his minutes were way down compared to that average. In games where he’s played about his average or above, he’s scored 18, 27, 19, 23. The other games were 25 minutes or less.
