Next Bond Girl Odds: Hewson And Sweeney Favourites, The Bear Star In Contention
James Bond aficionados are still waiting for news about the next 007 movie, but there has been plenty of activity on betting sites.
Several huge stars including Halle Berry, Britt Ekland, Ursula Andress, Eva Green and Gemma Arterton have all been leading ladies in Bond movies before, but who will the next "Bond Girl" be?
The term has been met with criticism in recent years, and while the wording doesn't look likely to stick around in films to come, there will no doubt be a female lead in the suave spy's next motion picture.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the favorite to be the next 007 and replace Daniel Craig in the coveted role, while the likes of James Norton and Henry Cavill are also single-figure prices.
But which leading lady will Bond line up alongside in the franchise's 26th film?

The Perfect Bond Girl
Eve Hewson has emerged as the new +150 favorite on specials betting sites to be the next Bond Girl, after her starring role in Netflix's The Perfect Couple.
Hewson - who is also the daughter of U2 frontman Bono - impressed in the mystery series as lead character Amelia Sacks, appearing opposite Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber and The White Lotus actress Meghann Fahy in the show.
But another White Lotus star looks to be Hewson's nearest competition for the role.
Sydney Sweeney has been there or thereabouts at the top of the Bond Girl market for months now, but she is out to +162 for the role.
The actress has been a wanted woman in Hollywood over the past few years, and has appeared in the likes of HBO drama series Euphoria, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, and Marvel movie Madame Web.
It would be no surprise if she added a Bond film to her ever-growing CV.
Bond's Duchess
Another star who has added fuel to speculation she could be set for a Bond Girl role is Charlotte Kirk.
The Duchess actress is just +175 on betting apps to appear in the next 007 movie, after dropping some huge hints of late.
Speaking to the Sunday Express newspaper, she said: "I am sworn to secrecy, I have to be very careful what I say.
"I really like your readers, but I don’t want to have to kill anyone!
"Nothing is a hundred per cent, but it will just be an honour."
Kirk showed her no-nonsense side in movie Duchess, which saw her play the leading lady Scarlett Monaghan, a working-class, petty criminal who became an anti-heroine.
She is narrowly ahead of Michelle Keegan in the market.
Keegan (+200) is back in the new series of the UK comedy Brassic, but she also showed her serious side in Netflix thriller Fool Me Once earlier this year.
From The Bear To Bond
Jodie Comer (+250) and Kaya Scodelario (+350) have been in Bond Girl contention for a while, but The Bear's Molly Gordon and Stranger Things star Grace Van Dien have emerged as potential candidates for Bond bosses.
Gordon is just +300 to play a Bond Girl in the next 007 movie, while Van Dien isn't far behind at +400. Gordon portrays Claire in the FX series, while Van Dien appeared as Chrissy Cunningham in Netflix's Stranger Things.
Others who might be in with a shout include singer and actress Dua Lipa. The One Kiss hitmaker is +450, and she could offer some excellent value for Bond producers if she performed the soundtrack, too.
Another star who knows all about singing is Industry actress Marisa Abela (+500). She recently portrayed legendary, late singer Amy Winehouse in the 2024 biopic Back to Black.
Her career has gone from strength to strength of late, as has Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan (+700). Coughlan is also no stranger to the big screen having appeared in last year's Barbie movie, and she would be a shrewd signing by Bond bosses.
Irish actress Saoirse Ronan is a +600 chance, and like Kirk, she has previously commented on the possibility of appearing in a 007 motion picture.
Speaking in 2020, she told MTV: "I would love to do a Bond. What I really want to is, I want to play a villain in a Bond film, or something like that. That’d be incredible."
It would also be incredible to see Ana de Armas back in a Bond movie. She is +800 to make a shock return to the film franchise, after playing Paloma in the latest 007 motion picture, 2021's No Time to Die.
