On the other side, we’ll see a deep Golden State team. Steph Curry is the only player with points per game north of 16.8, and Steve Kerr has been regularly using nine or ten guys in his rotation. Last Monday, the Hornets suffered a 133-121 home loss to the Brooklyn Nets, and Charlotte now owns the sixth-worst defensive rating in the league (116.0 points allowed per 100 possessions).
The Mavericks’ defensive rating is bad, too. They allow 115.7 points per 100 possessions (23rd in the league). But their offensive rating of 120.7 points per 100 possessions (2nd) is way better than Charlotte’s 109.5 (17th). Both teams prefer to play fast, especially the Hornets (103.9 possessions per 100 possessions), so this is a nice spot to bet NBA player props. Also, these two teams rank in the bottom ten in the league in the vast majority of defensive categories which will help the bettors.
Dallas put an end to its four-game win streak last Friday, losing at the Denver Nuggets 125-114.
