The Titans are coming off one of the more impressive offensive outings this preseason, defeating the Minnesota Vikings 24-16 in Week 2. Tennessee finished with 352 yards of offense, averaging 6 yards per play but did most of its damage on the ground, tallying 281 yards rushing while averaging 6 yards per carry.

Based on Tennessee's efficient ground game, we're going to take the underdog Titans +2.5 at BetMGM. Malik Willis was one of the more dynamic players coming out of the draft last year and proved efficient against Minnesota, finishing with 91 rushing yards and adding 85 passing yards and a touchdown. Willis' abilities as a playmaker is another reason why we like the Titans given his experience from last season and how he will likely once again see plenty of reps as the preseason winds down.

The Patriots were exposed in the shortened win over the Green Bay Packers, giving up 119 yards rushing on 4.1 yards per attempt. Look for Tennessee to exploit New England's run defense and cover this spread.

Best Betting Pick: Titans +2.5 at BetMGM

⭐ Titans vs. Patriots: Over 38.5 (-110) at FanDuel

We detailed why we like the Titans' chances to score against the Patriots, thanks to their vaunted rushing attack. But New England also came on in the second preseason game, putting up 21 points in just over three quarters of action before the game was called due to a serious injury to Isaiah Bolden.

That's why we're going to target Titans vs. Patriots: Over 38.5 (-110) at FanDuel. Bailey Zappe has experience as a starting QB last year and has continued to develop this season. Against the Packers, Zappe threw for 117 yards and a touchdown, while Mac Jones was efficient in his brief stint of action, completing 6 of 9 passes for 52 yards.

New England's ground game was also solid, finishing with 96 yards while averaging 4.6 yards per carry. With it being the last preseason game, look for offenses to be aggressive as they attempt to give the backups more chances to prove themselves in the final week of the preseason. All of this should lead to a higher-scoring game.

Best Betting Pick: Titans vs. Patriots: Over 38.5 (-110) at FanDuel
